Twilight has never handled stress very well.

Over the years, she's found ways to cope, and her anxiety attacks and breakdowns haven't been nearly as bad as they used to be, but they still exist.

It takes a lot more for her to reach her breaking point, but when you throw, old enemies, political strife, and blood thirsty invaders from another dimension into the mix all in the same week, that's when enough is enough.

A new and unexpected threat arises, and it's enough to push Twilight Sparkle over the edge. The new Princess calls out for an end to the madness, and Magic returns her call by bringing the arcane might of the mage to bear.

The mysterious forces that have invaded Equestria will soon realize that Tartarus hath no fury like the Element of Magic.

Celestia is broken.
Equestria is dying.
Twilight challenges certainty.

Spike has been a friendship ambassador to a faraway land for the last 5 years. He hasn't seen his Equestrian friends for that long either. The new world was not at all what he expected. The memories still haunt him as he embarks on a cruise liner bound for Equestria. What changed about him? Why is it so hard to face the ponies he once called friends? Perhaps the long ride would give him some clarity about what he really remembers, and who he remembers it by.

Story set long after the end of the show (but not the final episode). Just wanted to write a story based off A Pleasant Cruise , but I felt like it could use some more. Emotional sappy stuff is the main focus, so I hope you enjoy your heartstrings being played. Make sure you check out the other story to support the original work! Very good read :)

Starlight Glimmer wants to test a new spell to help her tie up animals in case they run loose on Applejack's farm. Without any creatures to test it on though, she decides to do it herself. Let's just say she's a little 'tied up' with things when Twilight comes in to see what's wrong. (This is my first story, leave any feedback you want!)

A normal end to a normal day -- at least, that's what it was supposed to be.

But it wasn't.

Luna went to raise the moon as usual, but something went wrong. Terribly wrong. She felt it, but she couldn't stop it.

None of us could.

It appeared too suddenly -- acted too quickly.

The only warning we received was a roar and a bright flash of light, then everything was gone. No more Canterlot, no more ponies, no more anything.

Nothing survived.

Nothing... except for us and whatever 'it' is.

We may be immortal beings, but that doesn't make things any better -- if anything, it makes the pain all that much worse. The only thing we can really do now is try to avenge those dear to us. Our subjects... our families... my friends...

Everything.

I don't care how long it takes, and I don't care if it's a pointless battle. All I care about now is making sure we put that thing down for good.

This story is a sequel to The Discovery

After changing into a pony, David has to come to terms with the fact that he can't function as used to. He thought his greatest challenges were past him, however, the difficulties of his new body are quickly becoming a massive strain on him and Midnight.

The guilt of making the choice for him weighs heavily on the dark mare, and eventually, the two of them must learn to confront the issue or lose the only thing they hold dear anymore. Each other.

Takes place between chapter 19 and the epilogue of The Discovery. I know that this is going to be confusing timeline-wise, but for the sake of making it easier, this takes place about a month or so before the epilogue of The Discovery. Again, this is a first attempt at something new, and I hope that you guys can appreciate this story for what it is, and not what The Discovery was. There are some different themes here, and a significant amount of fluff just because I felt like their relationship called for it. I hope that you enjoy what I've written.
