Two humans, Alice and James, often spend a Friday evening watching a film and slowly melting into the sofa. This week, Alice invites her pony friend Maple Syrup along, as she has seemed down and Alice hopes a quiet, pleasant evening will lift her spirits.

There's a job that needs done. A task burning a hole in Izzy's proverbial pocketbook, because no one will do it if she doesn't.

The day has finally come: Celestia's Nightmare has overtaken her. Daybreaker is on the rise, and all of Equestria will burn.

Her first target: Ponyville, home the Elements of Harmony.

But Daybreaker didn't count on one thing. See, she's really hot, and some ponies are just really, really horny.

Ponyville Retirement Village is being evacuated to a newly constructed shelter underneath Town Hall. It only makes sense; with this new villain 'Tirek' on the rampage, it's only a matter of time before he's drawn to Ponyville, just like every other monster, natural disaster, or hapless club of cutie-mark seeking agents of chaos.

What could possibly go wrong during the evacuation?

That last part makes them nutritious for changelings, a fact which Applejack is only now about to learn. But the changelings themselves have known for a long time – after all, they are some of her closest friends.

Sometimes, we hit those rough spots real hard. They might hurt a little, enough to make you wince. They'll scab over or you bandage them, and given enough time, it fixes up and you're doing good again. But those spots sometimes leave a mark. And when you look at them, you can still feel that phantom lingering in the back of your mind. You know the one; the kind that never really goes away.

But sometimes there's somepony there to make them hurt less. They might be a big, handsome husband, or your firstborn quiet and strong son. Or maybe just the cutest little filly who loves apples more than anything. Well, almost more than anything.

Celestia is many things to her little ponies: princess, leader, and teacher, to name a few.  Yet her past is unknown to her subjects, lost to the depths of time.  After she passes her crown to her student she descends into a place unvisited for over a thousand years, and there remembers a time before the Magic of Friendship, before Equestria, and before the Elements of Harmony -- the Hyponian Age.

It was an era of cruelty, violence, and hope.  Into this harsh world, Celestia the Cimmareian ventured out alone in search of gold, glory, and adventure.  The Tower of the Fallen Star and the horrors within await.
