Queen Novo banishes Twilight and her friends to the deepest reaches of the ocean. In this dark and desolate place of water and silence, giving in to one's animal instincts seems like the obvious course of action.
Thus Spike awakens, trapped and alone in an unfamiliar place. But as he quickly learns, it's a lot worse than that.
One night upon awakening, Fluttershy sees two pinpoints of light starring back at her from the foot of her bed. Whatever it is appears to stare her down. She finds herself in a situation which may just be the end of her life unless she can escape before the Thing moves first...

In 1981, MLP G1 was created, but it also marked the creation of another being. Neither living or human. Untraceable and responsible for countless deaths, and disappearances. The doctor.
Fourth installment of "the Survey" series. The series will be concluded in the fifth and final installment, coming whenever I decide how I want to end this story series XD
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Read the prequels first! You will be completely lost if you don't!
"Do you believe in ghosts?"
The question from Rarity is sudden, and while Twilight may not believe in them, she's curious enough to listen. It must just be a story, after all.
Edited from an entry into the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting contest "Seer's Spookfest #2". We were given no prompt, other than writing a horror story.
Special thanks to my friend Seer for hosting the contest, as well as all of those that gave feedback during it.
Pinkamena Diane Pie is all alone.
No pony to call her name.
No pony to talk with her.
In old age, she has no pony to call home.
She is alone and without friends.
A testament to the end.
Not long after her release back into the general population of Ponyville, Screw Loose vanishes without a trace. During a search of her home one week after she was last seen, a video recording of her apparent final hours is found. A video explaining that she was being hunted by creatures which evaded sight. A video intended as a warning.

After a few days of business, Twilight goes to the Canterlot library to unwind and study, but as she prepares to leave, she finds herself locked inside of a reading room. At first she assumes it is the act of an aspiring prankster, but as stranger and stranger things happen, she begins to question the likelihood.
