Arch 1. Ben Smills worked hard to get where he is in life. He has a stable job, a wonderful girlfriend and a nice home to boot. It wasn't easy, having acquired a brain injury when he was seven and losing almost all his eyesight in his right-eye.

However, that all changed when he woke up to find a group of six bubbles on his flank and turned into a pony from a kid's television show.

Arch 2. When the portal closed, Derpy did not go through. She still needs to find Dinky and, with the help of those she met along her jounrey to the farm, she'll set out and find her daughter.

However, she hadn't really needed to look far, had she only done so sooner.

Tom Wills was Ben's best friend since they were little and Ben had always been protective of him. Tom was finally about to start uni two weeks after people had started turning into ponies.

His plans for uni are altered, however, when his hair suddenly turns bright blonde.

Not long after, other things start happening. He grows a tail, his ears move to the top of his head and become pony ears. He's turning into a pony and, if the fur colour of his ears is anything to go by, he's turning into Dinky Doo.

Will mother and daughter find each other, or will they're paths never cross?

Few know this better than the hundreds of people who, on their twenty-fifth birthday, found themselves with brand-new cutie marks on their thighs, and soon ended up in equine bodies to match. Between this and being forced into a clandestine existence, making do with what little they have left and with no place in this world but the one they'll be able to carve for themselves, it sure ain't easy being an Equestrian on Earth.

Now six months in, despite authorities trying to keep the pony problem a secret and preserve a crumbling status quo, the ripples of change cannot be contained for much longer, slowly building towards an explosive revolution. Ponies have had to learn to live with change, to find ways to adapt to their whole world being upended... But how will humans react, when it's their own reality that's threatened, and it's their turn to make a choice over what kind of future they want, for themselves, for their country, and for a planet on which they're not alone anymore..?

This is the second volume of a sidefic set in the 'Five Score, Divided by Four' universe created by TwistedSpectrum. I'd recommend reading Volume 1 first to fully appreciate the current story, but this short recap will bring you up to speed on the essentials if you'd rather dive right in. This story is a sequel to From the Ashes

The Hive hidden in the Scarred Forest, officially dubbed the 'Scarred City' by its allies, has already changed twice in recent memory. The first time was when Chrysalis reached out to Equestria for peace and Twilight Sparkle joined their family. The second was when Twilight Sparkle ascended to the throne and changed things for the better. Now, as the queen finally opens their eyes, the whole world will see how they will change. For better or for worse.

Princess Celestia, searching for Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the missing ponies, approaches the Tree of Harmony to see if she can find any clue as to where all of them went, only to be ambushed by the remnants of Nightmare Moon, seeking revenge after her defeat. In an odd twist of fate the two are pulled into a brand new world, full of heroes and villains with all sorts of powers, Quirks, though both figures end up separated from each other in the land of Japan. Celestia ends up in the care of Inko Midoriya with Izuku as her brother, while Nightmare ends up being found by All For One.

Both must deal with their own Quriks and the school that teaches students on how to become heroes, all while facing those that seek to bring them down.

She joins a group of three heroes in their quest to track down the thieves who attacked each of them upon entering Baldur's Gate, recover their stolen possessions, and right the wrongs of the city along the way... all while uncovering a dark plot that's bigger than they could have imagined.

From there he will have to learn about the dangers of the New World, adapt to the monsters that call it home, and find out why the massive beast known as Zorah Magdaros headed to the large island in the first place, along with any secrets that might be waiting for him and his new allies.

Due to some injuries sustained in her fall she has a fateful encounter with someone who she later learns goes by the name 'Muzan', an event that changes her life once again and sends her on a quest to save this world in her own way, all while seeking to find the figure that had changed her life and learn more about him.
