This story is a sequel to Essence of Flight

Two months after her failed attempt to fly left her physically and emotionally broken, Rainbow Dash has taken Scootaloo out for a brief, but intense, day of flying practice. Of course, being around someone as awesome as Rainbow Dash stirs Scootaloo's imagination, and Dash is all too happy to show off some of her basic stunt moves, despite the bad weather.

Could this be the day Scootaloo's dreams come one step closer to reality?

Written for a Quills and Sofas Speedwriting panic. The prompt was something to do with lightning. I can’t really remember to be honest. It was a year ago! Thought I should polish it up a little bit and get it out there.

Sometimes you get scared and need to sleep in somepony else's room. It's okay. It happens to everypony. Sometimes, it even happens to everypony all at once.

When it does, excessive cuddling ensues...

Takes place during season 1 because it wouldn't make sense anywhere else.

School has ended and Sunny invites Hitch to come over to play for the evening. Sunny tells Hitch about her dream of unicorns and pegasi being welcomed with open hooves in Maretime Bay. Together, Hitch helps Sunny pretend to fly whilst she dreams of that fantasy becoming a reality.

Hitch was having a bad day. First his best friend runs off with a unicorn for some foolish quest and he ends up gallivanting of to find them and now for him he got caught in Zephyr Heights, home of those flying beasts, and is now a body pillow for a princess. Is this a nightmare ?
