When Twilight Sparkle slipped beneath the covers last night, everything had been fine. She had friends whom she loved, a teacher she adored, and a bright future ahead of her. But when she woke up, her blankets and quilts had been replaced by hospital gowns and padded restraints.

Everything is wrong and nothing makes sense; even her friends have changed. The doctors keep telling her that she is sick, that none of it was real and that it was all in her head. Yet she remembers a life far beyond the hospital walls. She couldn't have made it all up on her own. They must be lying… right?

Luna, Princess of the Night, feels like she's under quarantine in Canterlot. A mix of romance, high fantasy, and magic, the story features the power of friendship, sarcastic wit, and adventure against darkness driven by Luna's brash, courageous spirit.

Out of desperation and driven by conflicted feelings, a journey will begin, taking a group of ponies to the furthest reaches of Equestria. Ancient and lost secrets that even the Princesses have forgotten, and new revelations that bring into question the nature of those celestial ponies will be unearthed, pushing the adventurers into a spiral of mystery, discovery, and tragedy.

It's the day of Hearth's Warming Eve. Twilight is preparing for the holiday when a surprise guest comes to her house. It turns out to be Princess Luna and she wants to spend Hearth's Warming Eve with Twilight and her friends. Twilight accepts and the two decide to have a slumber party! Little do the two of them know that a deep secret that both of them had will be revealed to each other. Will the secret bring them closer or tear them apart?
