One day in the Crystal Empire, Shining Armor is asked by both his fellow guard Flash Sentry and his sister Twilight Sparkle for love advice. Being the kind pony he is, he helps them both. After all, it can only be a coincidence. What are the odds of a connection between them asking for love advice on the same day?

After becoming a Princess, a new door was opened for Twilight Sparkle. More books to read and new spells to learn. Immediately going into deep study mode she found a spell to make one younger excited she quickly tried to use the spell but it ended up backfiring on her turning her into a foal.

Now with no way of turning back Twilight will have to be the widdlest Pwincess of Equestria until a solution can be found.

Twilight after witnessing the summer sun celebration as a little filly, she decides to try and get into Celestia’s academy for gifted unicorns. Opening a book with a title that was missing a single letter on it's cover, Twilight picks up a rather interesting passion while studying for the entrance exam.

That's when things start to slowly 'grow' out of control.

A new alicorn has arrived in Ponyville. Normally, this would be a good thing. But his fast talking attitude is going to quickly earn him a one way ticket to Banishment Camp if Twilight doesn't figure out where this nuisance came from. When even Pinkie Pie doesn't want to be your friend, you'd best pack your bags.

Unfortunately, this supposedly overpowered stallion just doesn't know when to quit, and Twilight wants him gone. While most of the town thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread, it's going to be up to her and her friends to convince the town that maybe once a while... alicorns aren't such a good thing.

Authors note: The story will be more of the interaction between Shining Armour and Flash Sentry and the bromance that doesn't blossom. I wrote this story solely because I really liked the idea of military ponies but didn't want to make an OC.

Flash sentry was a Pegasus royal guard with a lot going for him. He was working his way up the ranks as a prominent soldier, and was the rising star amongst his peers. After a mistake in battle causes Flash to question his abilities as a soldier, Captain Shining Armour reassigns him to castle guard duty in Canterlot.
During the captain’s royal wedding, Flash catches a glimpse of a purple unicorn mare. Months later, fate steps in and he meets her properly for the first time. When they start dating, it seems he had finally made a right decision… until Flash finds out who her older brother is.
