The end was nigh, I knew that much. Within three years' time, my entire family would be dead. If I did manage to survive, I'd no doubt be hunted down by the government and the citizenry as well. Everything had gone to shit so quickly. War, famine, invasion, and there was nothing I could do about it. I just wanted to disappear from the planet, live in a place where I wasn't constantly under threat.

I got my wish, I suppose.

Nightlight And Twilight Velvet have always tried to do right by others. So, when they found an orphaned colt had been left at their door, they knew right away to take him in out of the cold. How could they ever know what dangers that shadowy night would hold? After being adopted by them, Night Shadow is given all the love and care a colt of his age would need, even managing to get into Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, the same school that his elder sister Twilight Sparkle attended. Then one day, he's given the chance to live with his sister again in her new home in Ponyville, witnessing first hand all the different adventures she and her friends go on. High School student Carson Andrews was in for a world of life and unexpected turns when he got himself transformed into a Earth Pony and free fallen to Everfree Forest and literally crashed into his favorite character from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Twilight Sparkle while she was on a expedition. Despite how much of a fan he is of MLP:FIM, he can't help but feel scared and on edge as to what kind of consequences his presence might bring on account of his knowledge of a fictional cartoon show.

Now under the name of “Wishing Star,” he must adapt to the world around of him , blend in with every pony else, and earn his own Cutie Mark. But what happens when he falls in love with the soon-to-be-Princess-of-Friendship and make changes to the world around him?

Sweetie Belle has the grand idea. Silver Spoon has the cash to make it happen. And Rarity has both the spare storeroom and goodwilled ignorance to give two troublemakers the space they need to add an artificial addition to their rambunctious ranks.

Very very lean oneshot that is my first foray into pure comedy. It's also more of an opening scene for a longer story than the self-sustained vignettes I usually write. Consider it a filler upload while work continues on It Takes A Princess.

20-year-old Ryan Burbank is living with his girlfriend in their woodland home when he is struck by a mysterious infection seemingly out of nowhere. To everyone's horror, his sickness spreads quickly throughout his body, shutting him down one piece at a time. The doctors are at a loss of what to do about this new form of bacteria. Ryan and his loved ones choose to keep fighting until either a cure can be discovered...or the pain becomes too much.
At the height of his suffering, he discovers a happy little show while watching television in his hospital room. The bright colors and happy attitudes of the cartoon equines provide him with a much-needed escape from the daily pain of being killed from the inside.
Eventually, the pain becomes too much and he decides it would be better to go out surrounded by his family, in the embrace of those who kept him company throughout his short life. Just as he starts to fade, his eyes wander to the screen of the hospital room television and the cartoon ponies who adorn it. Something strange begins to occur...almost like the screen is pulling him in. Tunnel vision, maybe?
No, that can't be it...why can he hear his name being called by a very familiar voice? And why is she...crying? Who is this crying, familiar voice and why does she seem to know him?

All she knew was the lab. But now, She's free. In a new world with infinite choices.

Millenia ago, when Discord first claimed control of Equus, he decided on a whim to send a random selection of ponies to a distant and inhospitable planet. As centuries passed, those ponies gradually forgot their home and their sudden exodus and remembered only myths of strange beasts and great rulers.

Nearly two years ago, when an astronomer discovered a distant star orbiting its planet and sending out huge amounts of magical energy, it sparked a space-race between Eris's two massive, technologically advanced superpowers; New Pegasopolis and New Unicornia.

Now, the pegasi are on their way to the strange world, and the unicorns are not far behind. Once there, these ponies will have to deal with the strange implications of their discoveries, and the residents of the planet will face challenges of their own. While none of the explorers from Eris embarked on a mission of conquest, the concept is far from a strange one to the ponies of that bitter and divided planet.

This story's prequel, Another Mare's Sky, details the events leading up to the launch of the ships destined for Equus. It provides context for these ponies' society, but reading it is not necessary in order to understand and enjoy this story.

All Marcus had to do was stay with the group during the field trip. Follow the group through the museum, listen to the guide, and DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING! Too bad he isn't one for following rules and immediately grabs the handle of a mystical hammer on display. As a result he is now stranded on an unknown world with the powers of Thor, the God of Thunder.

Oh....and 'accidentally' kidnaps a pony princess. Yeah this isn't his day.

At least the hammer keeps him company....sometimes.
