It was a major shake-up for most ponies: the loss of magic from Equestria. But for Cozy Glow, it just meant swapping her enchanted stone prison for a normal ball-and-chain one. Besides, that was ten years ago. What does she care of the humbled world outside? Or that it just delivered her an uppity new cellmate?

Luster Dawn cares. A lot. It's why she's here.

(Takes place between The Last Problem and Gen 5. AU Tag because these events are probably gonna get invalidated by canon someday.)

Second place winner of the 3rd Annual Cozy Glow Short Story Contest, double-dipping prompts with "Cozy's got a secret!" and "Cozy makes an unusual friend."

This story is a sequel to Changeling Space Program

Twilight Sparkle's memorable coronation is over. But before she gets tied to the throne, she decides to share one last adventure with her mentor and her closest friends.

Not a huge adventure. Just a little day-trip, really.

Back to the moon.

The Empire is starting to see a little more tourist traffic. The tourists, however, are having trouble seeing anything. When every native surface in the nation offers a choice of 'reflective or refractive?' -- well, it's rather easy to spend their entire vacation stumbling into buildings, usually right next to the door.

Cadance is working on the problem. But she can only treat the walls. The crystal ponies aren't going to cover themselves... unless a certain designer can get them interested in the foreign concept of 'clothing'.

It's a challenge fit for an artist!
Or a madmare.
When you hire Rarity, you usually get both.

Frayed Arrow never expected to discover a new species, let alone a sapient one. The Vespiquines - or "wasp ponies" as they're colloquially known - proved to be quite receptive to the idea of Harmony and rapidly integrated into Equestrian society.

There's just one thing about them that's eating her up inside.

This story was inspired by the following prompt: "How would you attempt diplomacy with a carnivorous species has to lay parasitic broods in other intelligent species who cannot survive the hatching process in order to reproduce?"

Thanks to Equimorto and various Anons for proofreading and providing feedback to the story.

Written for the "A Thousand Words" contest.
