Sweetie Belle has the grand idea. Silver Spoon has the cash to make it happen. And Rarity has both the spare storeroom and goodwilled ignorance to give two troublemakers the space they need to add an artificial addition to their rambunctious ranks.

Very very lean oneshot that is my first foray into pure comedy. It's also more of an opening scene for a longer story than the self-sustained vignettes I usually write. Consider it a filler upload while work continues on It Takes A Princess.

After a hangout with her best friends, Sweetie Belle catches a flu and has to skip school. Luckily, Rarity is there to nurse her to health and establish some quality time. But as they enjoy their get together, Rarity notices that it's more than just the flu that's making Sweetie Belle uncomfortable. A casual conversation turns deep as a major truth is revealed.

Ladyhood is a concept that Rarity knows well, so there's no better pony to teach Sweetie Belle the ropes when she comes of age.

Though, Sweetie had no idea that adulthood would be so scandalous.

So when Cheerilee finally covers pony sexuality on a warm, lazy, sleepy day, the trio come away with exactly enough notes to collectively believe the following:

Ponies going into heat is real.
They'll never be interested in sex at any other time.
They're going into heat once, for an hour and a half, and it's going to happen tomorrow.

This can only end well.

The Everfree is a strange place with hazards and geometries that don’t exist anywhere else in Equestria. The Cutie Mark Crusaders aren't afraid though. No sir. Especially not of overly friendly strangers with hidden faces.

Done as a mood, detail, and descriptive exercise for myself. Hints toward the identity of the stranger are woven into the narrative word choices with the hope that the reader figures things out just before the characters do. Let me know if I made the clues either too subtle or too obvious.

After getting snowed in, Rainbow Dash spends a night with Rarity, who she's recently been seeing more and more often, and Sweetie Belle, who lives there. A short and sweet raridash story about two women's blossoming feelings for each other and what home feels like.
