Luna-Moon has been reformed by the Elements of Harmony, with both Luna and Nightmare Moon now sharing the same physical form but their individual mindsets. Now, they have to adjust to life as ruling with Celestia, can they adapt or will they remain in the shadows?

991 years. That's how long it's been since Nightmare Moon took over Luna and was banished. Every single year, Celestia has tried and failed to abate her pain over the incident. Finally, she has had enough of the hole in her heart and seeks to fill it, even if only temporarily. Becoming a mother to six seems like the best course of action to that end, doesn't it?

Nightmare Moon has spent years of accumulating enough magic for herself to materialize after her defeat by the Element Bearers. She is separate from Luna. Her own being. She does not want eternal night anymore, having realized it would doom Equestria.
She can only think of the Sun. Of how dear is the Sun for her actually. She wouldn't take it from the skies... Everything needs her.

To make things short, two years ago, I was transported from Earth to Equus. The first contact was less than preferable but some of the ponies have gotten use to me, though some are still on the edge. Tonight is something they call Summer Sun Celebration. The longest day on Equus.

Things aren’t right. Ever since the defeat of Nightmare Moon, Twilight Sparkle has been having visions of a life that is not hers. Or… that’s what she thinks. Secrets long buried are about to bite back, truths come to the light and a conspiracy unravels. After all, how is Twilight to accept that her real parents are ponies that history says are threats to the land.

Twilight Sparkle is happy with her life. Although the newly founded Twilit Court presents her with challenges, she can still continue her studies and even discover a new kind of friendship. However, this quickly ends when she suddenly loses a large portion of her memory. Now her friends have to adjust to a Twilight who doesn’t seem to know a thing about friendship. As if all that wasn't enough, a sinister force is pulling strings without anypony being able to unveil the identity of the puppeteer...

The Great and Powerful Trixie is unhappy when her Summer Sun Festival night gig in Manehattan turns out to be a show at an open-air neighborhood festival in a seedy Lower East Side park. When the Sun refuses to rise on schedule, Trixie finds herself giving the greatest performance of her life to an increasingly-terrified crowd. But darker forces are moving events to an inescapable confrontation.

A side-story to Nightmares Are Tragic, hence takes place at the same time as The Elements of Harmony (the Season 1 two-part opener). Now has its own side-story, about Piercing Gaze, A Long Night at the Hippodrome

There is one flashback in which it is mentioned that there has been sex between two characters. There is also some violence.
