Young Dustin Folio is severely injured while on a field trip with his classmates, and once he awakes, he finds himself nursed back to health, only to find himself forever trapped in a room by Princess Celestia, forbidden to interact with the outside world.

Future Wonderbolt, coolness incarnate, and all-around awesome. Is it any surprise that everypony wants a piece of Rainbow Dash?

Not that she wants anypony to take a piece, mind you. All she wants to do is live her life. That's something she finds pretty hard to do when everypony she meets falls in love with her on sight, though...

There is no way to determine just what a pony has been through with one single glance, and it is an impossible task; even for detectives. The only ones who really understand anypony is the pony themselves, but that doesn't mean you can't try to. If given the opportunity to either shun sompeony or to accept them, always go for the second option, and never make a pony feel left out.

What Dash doesn't realize is that doing this would ultimately mean giving up her friends. A single changeling is cut off from the swarm during the attack on Canterlot. She's discovered by Vinyl Scratch and adopted as a pet. How will Wubsy the changeling, Vinyl, and Octavia cope when the town develops Changeling-phobia?
