Twilight Sparkle is not a risk-taker. She prefers the same old books in the same old library drinking the same old tea with the same old ponies. And that's okay!
On one fateful night, however, Rainbow Dash drags Twilight out on an adventure! Her very first rave.
It turns out Twilight isn't the only one hiding in a corner at these things.

This fiction was written as part of a challenge to write a fic in 30 days: one chapter per day, 2k words per chapter (you can learn more about it here!). However, this fiction will still be undergoing edits now that the challenge has ended. It currently has many many typos and errors, as it is literally unedited and was largely typed on a cell phone with gratuitous autocorrect--no need to point this out to me, I am very aware!

...But Silverstream, of all creatures only just now putting on the uniform…? Okay then. More to the point, she looked adorable in it. Wait, did he just think adorable? About Silverstream? Okay, yeah she was generally cute -loathe as the proud griffon was to admit it- but now she looked cute cute. Oh boy. Oh brother. Oh dear.

Long ago, in a distant land beyond Equestria, Lord Tirek was once the disciple of a centaur called Sendak, who promised the possibility of extracting Equestrian magic. After Sendak was captured by his father, Tirek sets out to do what his master could not: become an unstoppable force of nature.

Before he leaves, his nervous, unambitious brother Scorpan comes to him, pleading with him to stop. In the resulting exchange, Tirek and Scorpan become more than brothers. They become master and disciple.

Bonds between brothers become broken. And Tirek will discover what Scorpan really means to him.

After rescuing an incapacitated Twilight Sparkle from the dark clutches of fearsome demons, three warriors of Princess Celestia become close friends with the six Elements of Harmony. During their newfound friendship, they uncover dangerous and fateful secrets about everything they once knew about the Elements of Harmony.

However, that is only the beginning of a rather large adventure to decide the fate of the world. For the king of Tartarus, with his howling demons at the ready, will seek out the destruction of the entire world, and claim it for himself. And only one thing will stand in his way: the Elements themselves.

From the darkest caves to the highest skies to the deepest depths of the ocean, in storms, battlefields, mountains, and Tartarus itself, the ponies must push themselves towards their inevitable, eternal destinies.
