Several months have passed since his arrival to Ponyville, and not only is Ford Mustang staying there permanently as a full-fledged Pegasi, but he is also in a steady relationship with Rainbow Dash, who is now a rising star as a member of her dream team, the Wonderbolts. As of lately, Ford is looking forward to spend some quality time with his beautiful, blue angel during her big break this Hearth's Warming Eve.

But with the holiday season fast-approaching, he will have to come up with a great gift for her. The question is will his present meet up to her expectations on their very first Hearth's Warming Eve together? And what kind of surprises does Rainbow have in stored for him? This story is a sequel to The Arrival of Ford Mustang

It's been over a year since the Arrival of Ford Mustang, a former human being from Earth, now a full-fledged Pegasus in Ponyville, and things have been going really well with him and Rainbow Dash ever since they became a couple nearly a year ago. With their one-year anniversary coming up, Ford decides it's time to pop the question and ask Rainbow for her hoof in marriage. However, an unknown force of darkness rises from the shadowy depths of the earth and achieves his ultimate plan that can not only seal the fate of Equestria, but for the rest of the world as well.

Now, without the aid of the Princesses and the Elements of Harmony, it's up to Ford Mustang and his elderly dragon friend, Hindel, to set things right and stop this monstrous tyrant once and for all. But is Ford up to the daunting task at hand? What kind of allies will he run into along the way? And what is Hindel's connection with the vengeful pony from long ago? In the early days of the two Princesses, Luna liked to party, but when she met Peach Blossom her world changed forever.  One thousand years later, an old oil painting of her is still Luna’s most treasured possession.  She would forever be her first true love.

I should like to direct readers to the wonderful fan animation “Fall of the Crystal Empire” from Silly Filly Studios.  This was inspirational to me in developing the conclusion to my story and I wanted to copy the excellent dialogue from this animation, but had to change it just in case I fell foul of their copyright.  If you’re not familiar with the piece, please visit and give them a like.  They have also produced other really excellent animations such as “Snowdrop” and “Daylight’s End”.

Twilight was willing to forgive Tempest and move on. But Tempest felt she needed to face consequences for her actions against Equestria and asked the princesses to pass judgement. But her sentence wasn't anything she could have expected, and where it takes her even less so.

This can be read as a stand-alone story or continued to its sequel Luna's First True Love, when we find out about the mysterious pink unicorn in Luna's precious oil painting.

There is another sequel, A Hearth's Warming to Remember, that follows Luna and Rarity to their first Hearth's Warming together.

Celestia finds herself bored and annoyed with the daily grind she has to go through, dealing with the over-privileged unicorns that come to whine about their problems. Though when an especially nasty couple begin their complaints, Rainbow Dash won't be having it. Mischief and loyalty follow.

An experimental Rainbow x Celestia fic, I hope you guys enjoy.
