You've all heard the "I died and was Displaced to Equestria" prompt. Rather than Equestria, I wound up in a Void, waiting to be shaped into a world, and with the power to do just that. After a brief conversation with someone who may or may not exist (still not sure if I was talking to myself) I decided to create Equestria, just to see what would happen. It's not turning out quite as I'd pictured, but I'm enjoying the ride.

It's a few weeks until Twilight Sparkle assumes the throne of Equestria, and Ponyville's come out in style to celebrate their homegrown Princess!

And after a whole day of songs, food, dancing, and entertainment, Trixie's on-hoof for the final act of the night. One last, blowout performance to win the hearts and minds of the ponies who once mocked her. It will be great. It will be powerful.

After thousands of years inside a pocket dimension, the Crystal Empire returned to the Frozen North. Mere moments after a purchase at comic con, a man was sent to a magical world of mythical creatures as Skeletor. After a short amount of time, the Displaced Skeletor stumbled his way towards the Empire. What happened next? Well, only time would tell.

Everyone wears a mask. For the rulers of Equestria, that mask must be impeccable for their subjects. Only around their guards can the two Princesses relax ever so slightly, occasionally showing that they are just as fallible as any other creature. For one Princess, the burdens of her own mind begin to make the mask crack. However, when Private Steel Heart notices that it is, in fact, the pony underneath the mask that is beginning to splinter, he offers to help.

He had no idea such help would first involve getting attacked with a large brush.

Warning: Involves slow-burn romances, lots of feelings, comforting moments, adorable affectionate gestures, lethal amounts of fluff, feel-good auras, and a deadly combing implement.

For some reason, this story was getting comments every so often that would be from a brand-new user, were practically a full copy-paste of earlier comments by other people, and had random links that I didn't trust squirreled into them. I have no idea why this story of all stories is getting that, but that explains why the comments are disabled.
