The Kiss of the Alicorn is a spell only an alicorn can cast. Once in their life, they may share their immortality with another, granting one other pony eternal youth. So that they have another to stand beside them. So that they do not have to face eternity alone.

But it can only be cast once.

A hidden museum rests in the Canterlot palace, by law open to the public, by practice closed to visitors. Within its walls lie treasures of opal and gemstones, salt and wood. Shelves filled with untouched scrolls line the walls.

It is here that Luna pays her respects to Equestria's fallen heroes. Why, then, is it against her sister's wishes?

Princess Luna, as Princess of the Night, is in charge of guarding dreams of ponies all across Equestria. However, she is also in charge of attending the dreams of ponies dying in their sleep. It's a painful and bittersweet process, and it has taken its toll on her. Will she be able to continue?

Note: by "Gore" I mean very vague mention of fatal injury.

Millions of years in the future, Celestia and Luna watch over a dying world. Its surface is a cracked, barren wasteland, baked by a dying sun. The ocean is a caustic soup, choked with salt. Few creatures can survive this hellish future, and even their days are limited.

Yet, despite the desolation, there is some good news: Celestia's birthday is coming up, and Luna has a surprise for her...

This is just something that came to mind... I don't consider it any kind of canon. I wanted to write it as vague as was reasonable, honestly, but I had to tie in a few things. It's another tiny short one-shot.

Twilight copes.

The shocking death of Princess Celestia came and all of Equestria mourned. None could explain, either scientific, medical, or magical, could explain the utter failure of her body and her demise. After her passing, Twilight Sparkle finds herself plagued with answers of how and why this happened. In order to find out what happened, and prevent such a thing from happening again, Twilight use the same potion Zecora gave her during the vine incident to step into the past and find the answers she seeks.

Yet the answers are nothing she ever expected, and what she learns will shatter everything she has known about Princess Celetia and her thousand year rule since her sister's banishment.

Princess Celestia is never seen without a smile on her face or a laugh in her eyes. Nopony has ever questioned it. Why should they? A warm bath washes away everything, even a plastered on smile.
