'New Magic' has opened the Equestria realm to the horrors of grimdark and in response Princess Celestia has decided to send her most reliable subjects to face it head-on... straight into the Universe that coined the phrase that started it all.
Will this prove to be just another test, or has fate dealt the Princess of the Sun an unwinnable hand?

Set at the end of Season 3, the first task Princess Celestia puts before Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends proves to be their toughest yet.

A masked human jester known as The Fool walks into Equestria. Feeling the familiar sense of loneliness, the Fool decides to pull friendly pranks, enraging all of Equestria in the process save for a draconequus and a pink pony.

With these three working together to pull off the biggest prank in history, Equestria may have to take April Fool's Day off the calendar.

After being lost in time and space for centuries while fused with Discord, Twilight Sparkle has begun to lose her faith in herself and the Elements of Harmony. It is not until an encounter in Manehattan and a deadly fire that she begins to find her purpose again, and search for a way back home.

A mysterious figure kidnaps Spike, but not before revealing a dangerous warning. Spike quickly learns of the dark, hidden truths of the world, and his place in the coming days. Princess Celestia and Luna prepare the Elements of Harmony against an old friend. Seven powerful and fierce beings begin to gather. The world teeters on the edge of destruction.

With Twilight's spirit broken, Discord is ensured conquest of Equestria. Celestia is helpless to stop him, but part of her selfishly yearns for the romance they shared in her youth.

When Canterlot pays the price for one of Twilight Sparkle's greatest mistakes, hundreds of refugees from the ruined city are stranded in Ponyville. Can the princesses maintain order in the overcrowded town, or will the combination of clashing cultures, Discord's antics, the machinations of a criminal mastermind, and outrageously bad luck send it spiraling into chaos?

In the Everfree Forest, a creature of darkness is evoked. Alone an without guidance, it roams this strange world and stumbles upon a small town. It's presence here, however, doesn't stay hidden for long, as the rulers of Equestria do everything they can to locate it. Which means delegating it to their most capable individuals out there.

Meanwhile, Twilight isn't overjoyed that Ponyville is yet again visited by Discord. She already has enough trouble finding peace with her growing feelings for Rainbow Dash, so having to find a unknown creature with a strange conection to Celestia, Luna and Discord running wild and keeping a sharp eye on the fingers of a God of Chaos are sure to give her something to do.

Takes place between Games Ponies Play and Magic Mystery Cure. Because I like a good Discord and Twilicorn woudn't fit in my story concept. Even though I think it isn't that bad, I'll rewrite it as soon as I think of myself as a decent enough writer.

From a young age, Colgate has been the host of a magic that exercises power over time and space, a magic she cannot fully control. For the moment, Colgate has found a way to suppress her magic, to stop it from bearing her away to the arctic north or messing with time. Yet, little does Colgate know as the day begins and she, Bon Bon and Berry Punch harvest fruit, that her magic is about change her life. Soon she will borne be away to places she never thought she would go and meet people she never thought she would meet. And, as strange forces begin to take interest in her power, her friends will be snared in the crossfire. Time and space await...

Discord was defeated. Villains always are. It’s really quite cliché.

Before he lost, he asked himself a question: what if your virtues went out of control, rather than your flaws? Perhaps if the heroes and villains weren't so clear-cut, the conclusion wouldn't be so inevitable. If nothing else, there would be some fun chaos along the way!

Can the main six find a way to undo Discord's magic, in spite of themselves and each other?

Disclaimer; I have been working on this for a while, and the writing at the beginning is not as good as the writing later. Hopefully it is not too great of an impediment to the story.

Celestia frees Discord from his statue prison, convinced that he is somehow behind Twilight Sparkle's grayed personality. Discord takes advantage of the situation to make the princess hate him, for reasons he hopes he'll never need to say.

(First ever attempt at writing a story other than class assignments. Let's see how it goes?)
