It had been hard enough, being one of the first. With the walls dropped, leaving her nation, her herd, traveling to Japan and trying to exist among so many strangers... every day had been a challenge. But she'd tried. Day by day, hoofstep by hoofstep, she'd felt she was finding her place in the human world.

But now there are no humans. No other demis or liminals. Nothing to anchor her. She exists among tiny horses and the scent of their fear, or at least what little of it drifts into her cell.

For nopony can look at a centaur and see anything but a monster.

Chapters (76)

This story is a sequel to Triptych

There are those who say that a mark is a portion of the soul made visible to the world. That the mark is destiny, and so cannot be denied. Equestria has existed under the influence of marks for all of its recorded history, allowing the ever-changing tide of icons to guide the way.

But it could also be said that every system contains the seed of its own destruction.

There is one who believes destiny is nothing more than a trap. And there is nothing she will not do to make the world free.

(Part of the Triptych Continuum, which has its own TVTropes page and FIMFiction group. New members and trope edits welcome.)

Now with author Patreon and Ko-Fi pages.

This story is a direct sequel to Triptych. Do not read it unless you've finished the original.

Chapters (11)

This story is a sequel to Seconds to spare

Eris has been the student of Luna and element of Harmony for only a year or so, enjoying a new adventurous life in the long cycle of death and rebirth she is used to. But a ghost from the far flung past, Luna's once sister who Eris broke, has escaped her stony prison and seeks to return the favor.

A sequel to Seconds to Spare, the most apparent role-swap involved here is between "Discord" and Celestia, here Eris and Mirage. But in the previous story it was also revealed that Luna has taken Celestia's spot, Starswirl the Bearded took Luna/Nightmare Moon's spot, and all of the elements of harmony took alternate ponies.

Chapters (5)

Written as an entry to the Swapped Roles contest (with the theme of Reunions).

For readers who may assume this is a generic "Luna and Celestia swap" I beg you to keep reading.

Princess Luna has been ruling Equestria for a thousand years, but as the banishment she enacted long ago comes to an end, she only has her student and a collection of random ponies to rely on, to save the world. If they can save anyone, it'll be just in the nick of time.

Chapters (8)

This story is a sequel to The Ponies who Played with Fire

Warning: Some comments may contain spoilers

After being injured during the events of The Ponies who Played with Fire, a now-captive Discord is awaiting trial for murder, while Fluttershy and her small band of allies are facing possible enemies on every side in their desperate struggle both to clear Discord's name and avoid their own capture.

AU Fluttercord set eleven years after the first three seasons minus the Discord episodes. Inspired by Discord and Fluttershy's relationship both in the show and several fanfics (*cough* Bride of Discord *cough*) Based loosely on the plot from "The Girl who Kicked the Hornets' Nest" by Stieg Larsson. Rated T for some plot-related Murder Mystery Elements.

Chapters (3)

Being reformed has really agreed with Discord. He gets his freedom, he has new friends, and all he has to do is not unleash his powers on all of Equestria. It's a pretty good deal.

Unfortunately, not everyone's happy with Discord's face-turn. A group of strange creatures are accusing Discord of behavior unbefitting of a Lord of Chaos. But Discord's not worried. He's a spirt with near-infinite power! It's not like they can take him to court.

In this story, Discord gets taken to court for behavior unbefitting of a Lord of Chaos. With Fluttershy there to help him, Discord must try and prove that turning good hasn't made him any less of a chaos-monger. If he fails, it'll be bad news not just for him, but for all of Equestria.

And with Discord representing himself, the odds don't look too good.

Chapters (6)

The road to redemption isn’t straight, and it isn’t downhill. Princess Celestia has asked Fluttershy to try and reform Discord through occasional visits to his prison chamber, and both his and Fluttershy’s lives connect and diverge through the relentless passage of time. And perhaps Discord can see the distant glimmer of a better life... if only Fluttershy were in it.

Chapters (8)

Hardly a week has passed since the Changeling Invasion when the Mane 6 and Spike are asked to investigate a strange building deep within the Nightshade Woods that alicorns can't seem to penetrate and The Royal Guard keeps getting scared out of. Inside the building, the Elements of Harmony meet a mysterious entity who calls himself Dr. W.D. Gaster, who's apparently been spying on them ever since the Mane 6 all earned their Cutie Marks at the same time, his reason being to determine if they would be strong enough to help him protect their timeline from certain anomalies that were causing various other timelines to stop, start, jump left and right, and even be completely obliterated. As a result of both Gaster's warning as well as his mysterious nature, Twilight and her friends bring him before Princess Celestia.

Meanwhile, a fifteen year old boy named Frisk exits a portal of some kind, along with his evil split personality/hallucination, Chara Dreemurr, who's eager to not only seize total control over Frisk's mind and body, but to begin his favorite pastime: genocide and destroying the timeline, a mission that only gets complicated when Frisk falls for a girl around his age named Scootaloo.

Will Dr. Gaster be able to win over the support of the Mane 6 and the Princesses, and put a stop to Chara's schemes for mass murder and meyhem? Will Frisk and Scootaloo be able to live happily ever after? Or will Chara send all of Gaia on a one-way trip to his special hell?

An Undertale Crossover. All ponies, griffons, changelings, etc have been humanized to a certain extent. Contains Dr. Gaster X Twilight Sparkle and Frisk X Scootaloo.

My Little Pony is owned by an Equine Goddess named Lauren Faust and a toy company named Hasbro.

Undertale is owned by an annoying reality-warping dog named Toby Fox.
