That's how some would describe what those two did. Maybe they're not wrong. But, we were just foals, and after everything I've done since then, how can I possibly consider myself any better?

These thoughts have plagued Fizzlepop Berrytwist, a.k.a Tempest Shadow, ever since the Storm King invasion was thwarted several months ago. Unable to run from her demons any longer, Tempest returns to the place where it all began in the hopes of reconnecting with all those she left behind.

Ragar the Ageless has seen many things in his non-life. He has seen fields of cotton candy, the wails of the soon-to-be-dead chanting in chorus. Once he even saw a unicorn. Well, there are a lot of those in Equestria, so maybe that one was less noteworthy. But still, he's seen a lot. Now he wants others to see him in all his glorious evil. The only issue is he's not so good at it.

Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich ask Fluttershy to help them answer one of the greatest conundrums known to ponykind.

Written for the 87th Writeoff with the prompt The Other Side, this story's original version took 10th place.

The pills were first advertised in the local newspaper. The advert was simple: a yellow smiley face held in a hoof of a pony. Underneath the image were three words:

YOUR HAPPINESS, GUARANTEED!

Naturally, Pinkie just had to see if they worked as promised. After all, happiness with no side effect was a tempting offer.

This story is not about mental health medication, it was intended as a thought experiment about happiness. Also, We Happy Few came out a lot later than when I wrote this! I'm well aware there are similarities, but I wrote this quite a bit before it came out.
