Pinkie Pie has had enough. She cannot keep hiding her darker side anymore. So, one night, she writes down some of her darker side's views on what life and death are as well as how happiness and sadness can play a role. How much more was there to Pinkie than anypony had ever realized?

Peddler, sorry, that's Prodigious Peddler, is one of the saving graces of the Equestrian Wasteland. He's no stallion with a hero complex, nor does he have any profound sense of wisdom or grace. No, he's one of the many traders bartering wares from town to town. Need a good weapon? With the right number of caps, he might have something for you. Looking for information? Everything has a price.

It was a simple life with simple goals, but the Wasteland is not down with Prodigious Peddler just yet. A filly barters safe passage with him to Megamart in the Hoofington area. A trader's word is gold, and the deal is struck, yet there's something this filly's hiding from him.

That's fair. He's hiding his own secrets.

After stumbling upon the secret history between her mentor and the Queen of the Changelings, Twilight now finds herself in a position to put an end to the Pony-Changeling conflict...if she can just deal with all the craziness around her.

Alongside Chrysalis herself, Prince Blueblood, and her friends, Twilight must now visit the home of Chrysalis' Changelings, to ascertain for herself, whether or not the Changelings can live alongside ponies peacefully. Are the Changelings just a bunch of monsters? Or do they have more in-common with Ponies than anypony thought?

By popular demand (At least one person :}) here's the story detailing Twilight's visit to the Changelings. This is an interquel, that takes place during the timeskip between Ch.2 and Ch.3 of my earlier story Advanced Lessons. Fortunately for her, libraries are the most orderly, most mundane and certainly the safest of places one could possibly be. Or, so she thinks.

Twilight is about to find out how very strange the world of books can truly be.
