This tale is a spiritual sequel to Three Second Chances, by popular request. It follows the spirit of that tale, but is not a direct follow-up and so no prior knowledge is required.

Being friends with Pinkie Pie requires a certain kind of patience. She offers plentiful rewards in exchange... but sometimes those rewards are themselves the problem. After a prolifically provisioned practice session, the two most calorie-conscious members of the Rainbooms decide they've had enough.

Sunset just wants to know how she got roped into the madness.

With a single post, just a handful of pictures from her phone, Anon-A-Miss managed to destroy months of effort to redeem herself. Even her actions at the Battle of the Bands seem to mean nothing in the face of this apparant treachery.

But when the Rainbooms confront Sunset, about her sudden betrayal and cast her out, she gives a response none of them had anticipated.

When Pinkie Pie discovers she doesn't know Sunset's birthday, and none of her other friends know either, she sets out to get some answers. Those answers are very confusing.

It was safe to say that the Post Crush concert had been an interesting time for all concerned, Sunset Shimmer especially. But when all was said and done, there was definitely fun to be had, and now the girls pack up their things to head on home. However, as they journey, they spot a particular trio in need of some assistance.

Sunset has Twilight over for their weekly Movie Night when she notices something upsetting: Twilight isn't happy. Sunset tries to pull her girlfriend out of her funk and get to the bottom of what's bothering her, but what can you say when the one you love reveals she's afraid because her life is about to end?

The Dazzlings and the Rainbooms have been hanging out together for a while now. But Aria decides she needs more if she's gonna fully trust them. The solution? A fistfight, of course.

Then she gave something back to me.

Some societies worshipped masters of thunder, who wielded mighty hammers. Some societies worshipped those who had the head of a crocodile. And then, there were those deities that were a bit more, well, colourful. A bit more fun-loving. A bit unpredictable. But they were caring also, and for them, the world was big, beautiful and was to be handled with tremendous responsibility.

...Oh, and it was also a massive playground for them to do pretty much whatever they wanted. But hey, work hard and play hard, right?

Twilight's plan was perfect. Sunset just needed something to make her feel special - and it worked! What happened was wonderful. Magical, even.

... but then why did Sunset look at her like that the next morning?
