Twilight Sparkle is now Princess Twilight Sparkle and she's successfully rescued Sergeant Lyra Heartstrings from spreading herself too thin into early burnout in Canterlot—by ordering everypony who might have some claim to the mare's time to surrender her at their earliest opportunity.

It's a new life for Lyra Heartstrings, a new set of responsibilities, and a new princess to serve. Now she just needs to survive Ponyville to fully enjoy this new future.

The fateful day has come and gone. Nightmare Moon returned to Equestria and was dealt with by Twilight Sparkle and her friends. The tale of Equestria is not told yet, however.

Lyra Heartstrings is seeking a true purpose to her life, Sweetie Drops is seeking safety for the ponies of Equestria, Scootaloo seeks the sky itself, and the bat ponies of Thestralia are looking for friendship.

In his pursuit to recreate a pleasure from home in Equestria, Anon lets ponies experience some of his memories. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

The second week of Anon's impromptu displacement had gone reasonably well. The quaint folk of Ponyville have taken him in as well they could, considering his origins and uncommon physique. The local Goddess' of day and night bequeathed him a place to call his own (a bit of a fixer-upper, but he'll manage), and even granted him citizenship!

So why does he feel so conflicted? As the young man struggles to get his emotions under control, said horse Goddess butts in to keep him company.

He really doesn't mind.

In the middle of a party held in honor of the one and only Anonymous, Princess Celestia notices that the man of the hour is missing. Worried for her little human, she finds him sitting on the curb, alone.

Quite inebriated, Anon let's Celestia in on a secret, one that can be quite self-destructive.

Anon, fed up with being a handyman for the town, searches for his calling in life. And despite Twilight's assurances that he has no magic, Anon discovers avenues he's yet to explore.

There is a weird machine placed in the halls of the castle, everyone knows what it does. It's not a mystery at all. Princess Luna's unexplainable hatred of the machine is the real mystery.

Shall she prevail against overwhelming odds or lose herself in the deepest of pits? Let's find out.

As a timeless immortal being, I never understood death and loss. I was willing to make friends and play nice, I even fell in love. But then one day I lost the pony I loved most, and sought to escape my grief. It went fine for a time, until somepony restored magic to Equestria.

Hitch was having a pretty normal day, until a strange creature appeared on the road and transformed him into a mare. He kept going on about somepony named Fluttershy, before vanishing and imploding a few buildings. Hitch misses the days before he was a national hero in constant peril.

Twilight enjoys a relaxing sunset with Anon. The moment is perfect.

Well...

Fluttershy is absolutely terrified.

She just dreamed the perfect dream.
