My name is Comet Tail, and I have died many times.

It's been 10 months since Anon stumbled out of the Everfree, and as far as Rainbow was concerned, he was the coolest creature in Ponyville, except herself of course.

So when Rainbow sees smoke rising from the Libary Anon and Twilight were currently living, of course, she'd rush to the rescue, to save Twilight of course.

Sunset Shimmer will not be denied.

Freshly disowned and banished by Princess Celestia, she takes matters into her own hooves to claim the power she so deeply desires. She packs a few essentials into her saddlebag, knocks out a few guards and throws herself into the Crystal Mirror.

She didn't exactly know what to expect on the other side... she definitely didn't expect to wind up in some old guy's classroom, herself transformed into a human. But at least there's magic in this world!

Now she finds herself under new tutelage, as a brand new 5th year in one of the finest magic academies in the world: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Eager to prove herself and claim what's rightfully hers, Sunset devotes herself to her studies and aims to become the most powerful witch in the world.

But the Wizarding World is far from a peaceful place. A mysterious new magic shows itself, and unknown enemies and their devious machinations threaten not only her quest, but her life as well. As much as she hates to admit it, she may need a few allies to see her through.

Her dreams slipped through her hooves the first time. This time, she won't let them go... no matter the cost.

You ever have one of those days where you've woken up after a great night drinking with your friends, and you discover you've been turned into a colourful talking horse with a tattoo on its rear end?

No?

Well I have, so shut up.

The name I've taken for myself is Sharp Sight. I won't bother telling you my real name, since it's not gonna be used that much and you probably won't remember it.

This will mostly account my figuring out why I'm a technicolor equine and getting used to having four legs and seeing purple and blue horses talking, flying and using magic like it's nobody's business.

I don't have a 'waifu' to chase down and use my improbable charisma to get her to fall in love with me within minutes, so don't expect any of this.

On the other hand - or hoof, whichever floats your particular tea set - if you want to watch a snarky pony fall over his own legs and be frightened by his own shadow from the possibility of it coming to life and trying to eat his face, then this is the read for you.

So fire away and enjoy yourself. Laugh if you can, and feel free to leave any feedback. Believe it or not, it's appreciated.

Octavia feels like she is living in Vinyl Scratch's shadow, a bit part to the DJ's main act.

A thousand years is quite the generation gap, so Princess Luna decides she has to get with the times. However, this isn't quite as easy as she thinks it will be...

Starlight does a slightly better job at attempting to reform Chrysalis after freeing her friends and reforming the rest of the hive, and finds herself quite unexpectedly the new Princess of Empathy. Whether things go uphill or downhill from here will depend on who you ask. Twilight is thrilled, Chrysalis is miserable, Trixie is gay, and Starlight is just trying to cope with becoming royalty scarcely a year after being Equestria's most dangerous supervillain.

I've always thought Starlight more than earned her wings in the show, but, given that I also love Chrysalis, I decided to grant them in a way that ends with my two favorite characters not trying to kill each other.

This will be a series of mostly one-shots dealing with various aspects of Starlight's life after ascending, with a variety of tones; while it's marked as incomplete, the majority of chapters form complete stories. Obviously, there are an enormous amount of things to be done with such a premise, and, if you have anything you'd like to see explored—and also enjoy the story enough to comment—please feel free to request topics for future chapters!

While Celestia and Luna were the rulers of ponykind of many centuries, they were not the only alicorn leaders of their people's ancient past. Through the power of modern technology, they find a way to restore their father, Solaris, to be able to speak to them once more. As it turns out, this might not have been the best idea.

Twilight's friends try to matchmake for her to help her handle stress better. They hook her up with Big Macintosh. This won't lead to any problems, will it?
