Along the edges of Raccoon City lays the Arklay Mountains, a vast and heavily forested region. For the past few weeks hikers have gone missing, and the few hikers that have turned up have been found ripped apart and eaten by some kind of animal. To deal with this, the newly formed S.T.A.R.S (Special Tactics and Rescue Squad) sent out their Bravo team to investigate. When a freak storm comes out of no where and cuts off communications with Bravo the S.T.A.R.S Alfa team head out to find them and see if they can uncover what is happening to anyone who ventures into the forest. Though they manage to discover what's responsible for all of the deaths, that discovery leads them down a path of horror and pits them against a powerful and corrupt enemy.

(Note - For anyone familiar with the Resident Evil universe: Some Resident Evil characters have been replaced with ones from MLP. Plot wise this will not be an exact retelling of the games simply with ponies. There is enough different that it shouldn't be clear what's about to happen simply because you are familiar with the series.)

One fateful day, Discord felt a disturbance in the balance of things. Not just him, but Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich, too. They all know what happened.

Many people know my father, Sombra, for all that he did to the Crystal Empire when he was king. But what others don't know what he was like before he ruled, or how he reached the rank in the first place. It's a lot different than people might think.
However, they all know that he was defeated by Princess Luna and Celestia - or so they think.

When seven ponies wake up in a large mansion, unknowing of their situations and the others themselves, they find that they are involuntarily thrown into a game of endurance, and survival. The rules are simple: Do not fall asleep.

The last one awake gets to walk away, free.

The other six will never wake up.

My name is... Or at least I think it is, Leslie. It might be Aurora Drift now, it's hard to tell.

One day the world of earth stopped being the mundane place humanity was used to, as a crack in reality spread magic across the world. Humans began turning into ponies everywhere, and for a while I thought that was what had happened to me too. But memories I wouldn't think belonged to me keep trying to prove me wrong. They aren't very good memories, and I think I caused the entire mess in the first place.

I haven't let anyone know yet, it's hard to accept for myself. Fortunately, humans are way too busy trying to find a way to adjust to the ponies amongst their society to try and find the one responsible.

The history books say that Commander Hurricane and his lieutenants Lightning Streak and Ice Wing successfully brought the Pegasi nation into a firm alliance with the other races, establishing a new country under the Royals in Equestria. Yet, time tends to forget the darker details of history. Not everypony was happy to see the mighty and miltant Pegasi subdued under the 'beneficial' union with the other races. The ensuing internal struggle would fade into Pegasi myth, a secret long thought laid to rest...

Thousands of years have passed. Equestria has been at peace under the Diarchy of Celestia and Luna. Nopony recalls the forgotten history of the Pegasi. It is all about to change. Storms from the past are on the horizon, an ancient vengeance set to transform Equestria. Only three unsuspecting pegasi stand destined to turn back the storm; to discover the forgotten Legacy of the Pegasi.

It's probably nothing Star Swirl can't take care of, provided he and Clover manage to resist killing each other first.
