Celestia wants Twilight and her friends to loosen up a little bit around her. Luna just wants to try the hard cider. During a surprise visit to Sweet Apple Acres at the tail end of cider season, Princess Luna has just a bit too much to drink, and when she makes a rather inappropriate joke, Twilight comes to the very uncomfortable realization that she has never seen Celestia excuse herself to use the restroom.

There are three distinct moments of time. One is the present, a constant menagerie of ever-changing conditions, where all life live and act. Another is the future, full of uncertainty and possibility; in which speculation and imagination exists . Finally, there is the past, set, unchanging; from where remembrance and recollection occurs. To simplify: one can only hope for the future, live in the present, and recall the past.
But what if one could do the impossible? Something so unbelievable that it shouldn't even be feasible.......

To grab history by the reigns.

Dear Princess Twilight,

Today we have encountered a whole new tribe of previously undocumented dogs. They are as dangerous as the wild plains dogs but are not as overtly aggressive. I know we had intended to study their plains dwelling relatives but this is too amazing an opportunity to let pass! If you could please send a secondary expedition, preferably escorted by guards that would be able to stay with us if needed, that would be wonderful. Please find enclosed in this packet my detailed notes and illustrations of the members of the pack that we observed today.

As always, your advice on how to befriend these dogs is greatly appreciated.

Your faithful subject,
Temple Scrivener

While fighting off hordes of horny horses, the mane six and Divide must find a solution to this enigmatic equestrian ethos—or find a way to deport him back to his own dreary dimension.

Will he survive, or shall he fall before these frisky fillies and salivating stallions?

Inglorious self-insert, written because I promised I would.

After an irritating encounter with Penny, Sheldon retires to his home-away-from-home, his Batcave, his Fortress of Solitude: his office. But the physicist gets more than he bargained for when a strange interdimensional worm hole appears in the Biology department.

Trapped in an unfamiliar, scientifically impossible world. Sheldon has the perfect opportunity to flex his astonishing social skills, or lack thereof. Completely oblivious that the fate of Equestria rests in his hands, Sheldon embarks on a journey of self discovery and love and tolerance... except he doesn't discover anything, and love and tolerance is a waste of time.

Well, maybe he'll learn the value of friendship along the way. But that isn't likely

The key to power isn't immortality, nor is it strength. It is the simple spear and the will of the soldiers that wield it. Power to force peace, and war. Power to save, and kill. The standard-issue spear of the Royal, Lunar, and Solar guards are identical, and have been identical for hundreds of years, differing slightly only in style. They were passed down from their father, and his father, and his before him. Each has a story, and the oldest have a particularly interesting tale to tell...

A thousand years ago, we fought them with sharpened sticks. As you might've predicted, we lost. No, we didn't even put a dent in their numbers. But if there's one thing we humans were always good at, it's living in caves. No pony in their right mind would ever enter a cave. Too small, too dark, too dangerous.

But to us, it was a sanctuary.

Oh how we wished for a glorious final battle where our very species would be ingrained in myth, to be spoken of as mighty warriors that would rather face death than dishonor. Unfortunately, we faded away with barely an afterthought. The princesses returned to their thrones, and the ponies to their homes. Only the oldest of texts hints to our existence. Only the oldest of dragons have drawn human blood. Only a few beings clearly remember our faces.

Let us embrace the sunlight. Let us sleep under the moon. Let us smell the fresh scent of a spring forest. It is time my brother. Whether by eagle or by dove, we will return.

Let us march. The overworld is calling.

-The Key to Power.

The events recorded here are small snippets, from journals, transcripts, interviews, etc... All focusing on the history of humans. My name is Prof. R█████████ H██████, and we will be going on a little journey down memory lane.
They're a curious race, one filled with violence and love, honesty and greed. They're a chaotic species that managed to live in harmony. My personal journey started here, in the archives of the Manehattan University. I only have snippets, so if something appears in the middle, it's there because I organize my information in chronological order.

Are you ready?

Good. Let's go.

In ancient times it was said a race of warriors, hailing from an alien world once walked the ground of old Equestria.
They were called the Silver People, a race of bipeds with glimmering armor and swords that came and assisted the alicorns during a time of great peril.

But even after grand victories and countless deeds, their kingdom lasted only for two-hundred years when according to myth, they had turned to the dark path they once swore to fight.

Millennia later, Twilight Sparkle's curiosity gets the better of her, and she is fully determined to learn what drove Mankind over the edge, and their fall.

A land of despair, cruelty, deception, malevolence, treachery and magic. This is the Equestria that Zack has come to know ever since he was captured by colourful ponies. What they want with him he does not know. But he plans to find out. But first he needs to escape and then, just maybe, find a way to kill a Princess.

Rated Teen for Violence, Don't expect it to get too gory for the gore tag.. but I'll see where the story takes me and if I need to, I'll add it in the future.

Note: This story takes place during season 3 before the events of Magic Mystery Cure

"Humans.... Quite possibly the most infuriating mythical creatures in existence. If you ever have the 'luck' to meet a Human in your travels across Equestria, then you must be careful. Humans are extremely powerful creatures, some would say more so than Celestia or Luna, they are also more unpredictable than Discord. They can help you in a tight spot if you're lucky, or play nasty tricks on you if you don't hold the Human's favor. In my time I've seen a Human give a filly pounds upon pounds of gold, and the same one turn greedy ponies into gold. The only one I ever have seen 'face-to-face' was in my earlier years, he helped me repair my wagon when it broke down in Everfree Forest, by fix I mean a whole new one appeared not ten feet away, and the only thing the Human asked for in return was a spindle.... But be warned, never anger a Human, a trick or two in fair game is fine, but if you ever manage to truly anger a Human...... you'll be part of the small number ever to meet non-existence." - Star-Swirl the Bearded.

A silly nonsensical story, not to be taken seriously. Some chapters are not connected to others.
