Herding was not common in Equestria, so Rainbow Dash was understandably surprised when she is invited to join a herd with her closest friends completely out of the blue. She did love her friends, but why does it feel like what she wants and what they want are two very different things.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away…

The Galactic Empire has conquered the galaxy! Through the machinations of the evil Darth Sidious, the Jedi have been all but erased from the galaxy, leaving only few survivors.

In the years since Order 66, a small band of citizens from across the galaxy have joined together in revolt against the evil Empire. Forming the Alliance to restore the Republic.

These rebels, in their search for support and allies, have now received intelligence that a Jedi survivor has been sighted on Ryloth, prompting the rebels to launch a rescue mission…

Equestria had seen it all: Nightmare Moon, Discord, Chrysalis, Sombra, Tirek—or so they thought. These foes had been little more than obstacles to the Elements and the princesses. These villains lacked true evil. They did not kill, they did not torture, they did not lack emotion.

But now, a new threat appears in Equestria, one that is evil itself. He is human, but he is more monster than man. Known only as The Dictator, he knows war. On his homeworld, he conquered everything within his reach. Countless kingdoms fell before him, the amount of blood on his hands immeasurable, as he took control. From the rubble of his conquests, he built an empire unlike any ever before. His influence stretched over his entire planet, and he amassed his armies.

When his soldiers told him there was a way to reach another world, he jumped at the chance. He gathered a group of his finest warriors and brought them with him through the portal to the new planet.

Like a plague, they spread across Equestria, Infecting everything they touched like a blight as they enslaved their enemies and turned their towns into strongholds. The ponies fought hard to survive, but his forces seemed unending.

They now stand at the entrance to Canterlot, the last bastion of ponykind…

The Cake Twins have always wanted to do something special for their Auntie Pinkie Pie, especially since they know she was their foalsitter when they were younger. But they've never been able to find a way to thank her properly.

Fortunately, an opportunity gets almost literally dropped into their hooves when they're pressed into emergency foalsitting service for Pinkie Pie's foal: Lil' Cheese. Pinkie desperately needs a break and nopony else is available.

The twins thus agree to look after the little colt. But Lil' Cheese is going to give his new foalsitters more than a few headaches before all's said and done. Will the twins be able to keep up with him? Or will Lil' Cheese drive them as crazy as they once drove their Auntie Pinkie Pie?
