Twilight Sparkle fights her most nefarious enemy yet: her kitchen door.

She loses... well, almost.

Spike comes to visit Ember only to hide away in a pile of gold. What he sees afterward will change his relationship with her, and its something Spike would never expect from Ember. its Something that needs to be hidden and what would happen if its something the dragons would laugh at her.

Spike was always different from other dragons. Sure, he still had many of the standard abilities of a dragon (such as flame breath and really tough scales), but he also liked reading more than other dragons did and didn't enjoy many of the same activities that gave other dragons pleasure. He was also adept in the field of alchemy. His only friend growing up was the Dragon Lord's daughter Ember.

Now, however, he has a chance to find out WHY he is different from other dragons, even if it means saying goodbye to his only friend. However, if he isn't like any other dragon, then what is he like?

Is there another out in the world like him or is he truly alone?

If he isn't alone, then where will this new path take him?

Many adventures with new friends and dangerous new enemies will give him the chance to find out, for better or for worse.

The only way to see where he will end up is to keep moving forward and never look back.

Taking place 4 months after the Anon a Miss incident, Twilight Sparkle starts to get worried as she hadn't heard from Sunset ever since she cut ties with the Rainbooms and had gone solo. But when she suddenly gets a message from Sunset after the camp Everfree trip telling her that she's having a fun time with the Rainbooms , Twilight at first thinks she's forgiven them but soon after becomes suspicious, so she goes trough the portal to have a chat with the humanized version of her friends, but what they are about to tell her what they did to Sunset during their trip will send our princess into a downright spiral of shock and confusion.

(Also this does not take place during Dainn's Anon A Miss story, this is my own universe.)

Imagine having the power to be able to manipulate the element like a plaything. Imagine being able to cast any spell with no problems. Imagine being able to lift a mountain toss it away as if it weighed nothing. That is a Dragon's True Power. But one is said to be above all dragons. A being said to only to exist in myth: The Divine Dragon. A dragon said to be able to eradicate armies with one puff of their breath weapon. Tear through a wall of diamonds as if it was was paper. And a roar that can make even the mightiest of creature grovel and quiver in fear at the mere sound of it being heard from a great distance away. But now that creature is no longer a myth but truth. It resides in Equestria blissfully unaware of it's true destiny and the nature of it.

Meanwhile Applejack attempts to redeem herself for her actions to Thunderlane while Rainbow continues to explore her feelings for new friend him.

Plus on the side, Rumble continues his attempts to befriend all of the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

Rainbow Dash continues to grow her friendship with Thunderlane after a good couple of weeks, and her friends have warmed up to him, his brother and the Pegasus Twins slightly, except Applejack, who is still on the fence, Plus Rumble also has his trials and errors with The Cutie Mark Crusaders, including romance & jealousy.

But when Celestia invites the Elements to Canterlot for a Talent Show, this is Thunderlane's chance to really get in good with his new friends, but jealousy & resurfacing of old rivals make that harder.

Rainbow Dash wants to shake things up in life when her friends annoyance and predictability take hold, but when she finds new friends in Thunderlane, his little brother Rumble and the Pegasus Twins Flitter & Cloudchaser, how will her other friends react to that development? Will they accept him or reject him?
