The Battle of the Bands had been won, and the Dazzlings defeated. Spike and Twilight return to Equestria, at peace once more, to rest until the next crisis. But Spike has something on his mind, something he deeply regrets. But in the end, it doesn't matter, because families forgive each other.

Just something I thought of while I watched Rainbow Rocks. Submitted for Everfree Northwest Scribblefest 2018, "Family Trees, Roots, Branches, and Leaves."

After Princess Luna and Princess Cadence help Twilight clean up Ponyville from excessive dark magic, the both of them start to consider just how much Spike means to them.

When both princesses come to see themselves as aunts for Spike, they find themselves competing against each other for the little dragon's favor. To that end, they both plan a party for Spike and that includes getting Pinkie Pie involved.

Meanwhile, Spike has no clue what the princesses are getting up to, or why Pinkie Pie seems to be acting even crazier than usual. Will the stress of planing competing parties be too much for Pinkie and cause her to spill the beans? Or will Luna and Cadence be able to put aside their differences before then?

Five years have past since Twilight and the Sparkle’s welcomed Spike with open arms into their home. Starting middle school should be easy for the young boy, right? If only things were so simple.

The reality is anything but. For once in his life Spike Sparkle wants someone to notice his pain, something he fought so hard to keep concealed in the past. But when the people you trust the most are too busy dealing with their own lives, sometimes you end up falling through the cracks. A lesson the little boy had learned all too well growing up, before and after meeting Twilight Sparkle.

Since moving in with the Sparkles, Spike never felt more alone in a house full of people. So when his family expects everything to be fine, how long can he keep up the charade?

The truth is never hidden for long, it wants to be told. When it finally is, and the young boy is pushed to the breaking point, it will change everything for him; and for the girl that changed his life.

(Takes place immediately after "Luna Eclipsed", colab with yodajax10.) Another Nightmare Night has come and gone, and now Ponyville begins the process of cleaning up after it.

Spike offers to help out, but Twilight reassures him that they can handle things on their own. So, reluctantly, the baby dragon decides to spend a little time with Princess Luna, who has just come out of her shell.

But what can the two talk about? Quite a lot, actually. And both will come to realize, they have something in common.

Submission for the Bat Ponies and Thestrals 2017 Competition

When Spike gets bored of regular old Ponyville, he gets help from a friend and is on his way to The human world. Not knowing what's their, or what most of the places are called, Fluttershy will have to steer him right.

Can Fluttershy handle the young boy? or will spike drag Fluttershy along for the ride?

Applejacks hat is missing. Spike knows where it is. But a hats not all that there is to find.

With Twilight away in Canterlot, Spike is left to his own devices. But Ponyville isn't the busiest of towns and before long, boredom begins to creep.

So to cheer himself up he decides to go spend time with his friends. Five stalwart companions whom he has known through thick and thin.

But Spike soon begins to realise that really, those are Twilight's friends. Not his.

In fact he starts to wonder whether, since he moved to Ponyville, he's actually made any friends at all...

Rarity has always been a pony who indulges herself in the finest things in life, but also enjoys being in the company of her friends and family. She is a successful fashionista, a refined mare whose love is fashion, and a dear friend to those who need her.

From time to time she watches over her little sister Sweetie Belle while her parents are away on vacation. Sometimes she throws Sweetie off on one of her friends so she don't have to bother with her at times although she does love her sister.

However, how would Rarity react when discovers an abandoned child, a human child to be exact? How would she respond when she is thrown into being the mother figure/caretaker of this small one?
