After a pickup mission gone wrong, a Huragok (Called Engineers by humans) crashes in the Everfree Forest. Witnessing the crash-landing and her curiosity getting the better of her, Apple Bloom finds the little gasbag. After a traumatic first encounter, she takes the biological supercomputer home. While she and the other ponies try to figure out what a Huragok actually is, they are completely unaware of the danger it poses to them.

Dadab, the smartest Grunt in the Covenant, has mysteriously found himself in Equestria, and he's not alone. With him came an overly bossy Kig-Yar pirate, and a technophile Huragok. What shall the strange trio find in this magical new world? Glory? Fortune? Power? Or will they instead find more than they bargained for?

It's the year 2559. The UNSC barely managed to fight off the hordes of the Covenant. That victory came at a hefty price. With the war over and the rebuilding process beginning, the UNSC Tuscany is sent out to investigate potential new worlds to colonize. It's crew and captain are in for a surprise when a gravitational anomaly turns into a tense situation where cooler heads must prevail.

After an unstable slipspace rupture destroyed the Glory Upon Salvation, the Ultra's life was turned upside-down in more ways than one. Now situated rather comfortably in Equestria, everything appears to be working out for the Ultra and his trusty companions, Pip-Pap the Unggoy and Bok the Kig-Yar. The Minor has been defeated, the ponies are slowly growing to accept their fearsome and war-like appearances, and Princess Celestia herself holds promises of a new life waiting just around the corner. The Ultra is ready to embrace this new hope after his old life was smashed to pieces by the truth about the Prophets and the humans.

But a storm is once again brewing on the horizon. Equestria draws closer and closer to a horror that has not been seen for a millennia: war. It is up to the Ultra and his company to defend their new home with honor and glory, but this time, evil did not come from the Great Beyond...

It has been several months since the disappearance of Twilight Sparkle..

One night, after watching her sister raise the Moon and set the heavens alight, Princess Celestia begins to bed down for the night, only to be interrupted by portal forming in her room. From out of the portal comes none other than Twilight Sparkle, garbed in strange armor.

Princess Celestia, along with Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor, are overjoyed by the Element of Magic's return, but are justifiably curious as to where she had been and what she had been doing. And so, Twilight begins her tale. A tale of survival against impossible odds. A tale of a people fighting for the most basic right of all sentient beings. The right to exist.

The Sangheili are a saurian species of fierce, proud, strong, agile, intelligent warriors and skilled combat tacticians. They are named after their home planet, Sanghelios, and are known to Humans as Elites, due to their adeptness and skill in combat. The Sangheili formed the military backbone of the Covenant for almost the entirety of its existence, they fear very little, and take great pride in an ancient, honor-laden code.

However, this group of Spec Ops Elites, Grunt, and Kig-Yar have crashed landed in Equestria by way of a slipspace drive being detonated in the middle of the ship they were heading to, the 'Glory Upon Salvation'.

Now they have to find a way off the planet and back into space so they can continue their journey to the Blessed Path... by dropping hot plasma on human worlds.
But will they want to, when something they revere tells them otherwise?

Recently tagged as Teen for implied violence, and (maybe) minor gore in future chapters.

Immortality. It's said to be the ultimate achievement. The negation of the one true hinderance to all forms of life, the binding and unifying factor that every mortal being shares. Those who are without it, wish for it. Yet those who have it... They wish it gone. For while eternal life stands as a tribute to an infinite amount of triumphs, it harbours one simple truth. Immortality isn't living forever, it's everyone you love vanishing around you.

For some this is of little concern, for they are without the bonds of friendship and affection. Why worry about the longevity of loved ones that don't exist? Others fight to keep those they care about alive, betraying all reason in the name of a struggle against the cosmic rule of entropy. Many simply retreat from sight, becoming recluse, hidden and forgotten. Yet the last archetype, they do nothing of the sort, for they have not yet exceeded their mortal lives. They are determined, free from the strife of a million year existence. These beings turn desperation into action, travesty into opportunity. Darkness, into light.

When all seems lost, all it takes is one final effort, a stand against impossible odds. And that's what guardians are best at, isn't it?

If large scale crossovers aren't really your thing then I'd advised you to read no further into this story. This is a Destiny/Halo/Mlp crossover, the lore of each universe will be changed to fit the flow of the story. Some changes may be small but many are rather large. Prior knowledge of each universe is very much recommended, although I will try my best to write it in a way that is enjoyable for everyone. As it stands this is also my first fan-fiction, so constructive criticism is not only welcome but encouraged. Any ideas regarding changes or upcoming chapters are also welcome. Thanks.

Another note, this interpretation of the Destiny universe will not take into account any of the events following on from the original game. If this causes anyone to lose interest I fully understand. Just thought I'd let you know what you're getting into.

Final note from 5 years after the original publishing of this story, I recently put this back up after a period of 2 years unpublished because I recieved requests from people wanting to read it again. I don't plan to continue this version of this story, however if in the future I find myself with more free time, I may make an attempt at rewriting it, bringing it into the modern era if you will. Until that potential day, I hope you enjoy this wild trip back to 2016.
