At first, Sunset thinks the dreams are just a minor reaction to hearing about Applejack's dream. But when the dreams keep coming for a month, she decides to ask her friends for help.

It's time for the fair in Canterlot City, and after looking for her for some time, the girls learn something about Fluttershy they never knew about before. (Set After 'A Little Birdie Told Me')

Applejack had a crazy dream. Something happened in it that she's sure she would never do, but how should she deal with a dream where she's intimate with one of her best friends?

This story is based off of the EG Holiday comic from 2014. Go read it if you haven't yet. It's really good.

Equestrian magic has undergone yet another change. This is nothing new. Sunset Shimmer and her friends had always taken this kind of challenge in stride. Now, however, things are different. And Sunset Shimmer vows to find out why the strongest friend she'd ever made has missed an entire week of school.

This is a foolish, terrible decision that sets in motion everything Sunset is woefully unprepared for.

Along the way, they must content with what the game brings-- Change in attitudes, rival duelist, hard to control emotions, reasons why people duel-- all these things that could really test their friendship

Sunset also begins to suspect that something evil may be afoot, an evil that can only be battled by the game!

Sunset is at the end of her rope when she stands face to face with him, the real him, unconscious within the portal leading to Equestria. As adamant as she is to help anyone in need of help, is it wrong to think that Princess Twilight Sparkle can deal with him? Let Sunset figure out the rest of her life with rampant Equestrian magic first? All she has to do is push him further into the portal, into Equestria. But she isn't that kind of person, and pulls him into her world instead.
