On her way back from one of Pinkie Pie's parties, Applejack was bitten by a strange timberwolf. After that night, the others noticed that Applejack has been acting a little strange. And after pony couple were attacked by a strange pony-like timberwolf, other decide to investigate. It's soon discovered that Applejack has been changed to Timberjack. And the only way to stop her is to enlist the help of a friend of the night...Flutterbat!

This story is a sequel to The Alicorn Trials

Ever since Princess Celestia made the revelation that the other members of the Mane 6 can become alicorn princesses, life hasn't exactly been the same. Applejack took it the hardest, of course. How could somepony like her can become an alicorn? Her whole life and destiny has been on her farm, so everything she thought she knew about herself had become so mixed up.

Months later, AJ's dragon friend, Spike, received an urgent message from Ember to help her solve a threat that has been made against her. He asks Twilight and Applejack to accompany him there; inviting AJ because he had thought maybe that a trip can help ease her mind on the whole thing she has been facing.

However, both Spike and Applejack deal with problems of their own: they could slowly be getting an attraction to each other. Will Applejack's life make sense once more, and solve the threat? Or will more conflict rise up that will force her life-changing decision upon her?

Flim has come to Ponyville after his brother and only real friend left him by the way side, he goes to Applejack's farm to seek guidance from the farm pony but Applejack doesn't trust him after the two previous experiences and pushes him aside, but Fluttershy is there collecting apples for her animals. She is willing to see what Flim has to say, and learns there is much more to this salespony then meets the eye.

A stolen book, seemingly, leads to the death of the CMC. However, after a botched attempt to save their lives, it becomes apparent that the crusaders may not be as dead as they appear.

Now it is up to Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash to pick up the pieces. As they find themselves having to start all over again with the fillies, as well as handle any of the consequences that came with this change.

Sweet Apple Acres, the home of the Apple family but also a home of apple secrets. For as long as anypony could remember, apples have been fresh and ready for harvest. Neither the cold of winter or heat of summer would prevent apples from being ripe. Natural or even supernatural disaster could not ruin a single harvest. Every day from begging to the end of the year Sweet Apple Acre had one season and one season only. Bucking season.

And now one pony wants to know why. Timid but brave Carrot Top is venturing on a quest, a quest to discover the dark secrets of apples.

Twilight was in an accident and can't use wings or magic leaving her in a bit of a pickle.

It's times like this where Twilight has to give earth ponies more credit than she could dream of.

(In this story Twilight has gone without magic before realistically, but in this scenario she's a bit too used to using magic.)
