Apple Bloom is proud to join her grandfather on a trip to the Vanhoover Food Court: the biggest annual gathering of every pony who's anypony in the food business.

While doing her rounds as a proud representative of the Apple family, she finds a Unicorn colt with a unique cutie mark problem: he wants to be a farmer, but he doesn't know how. Everything he tries seems to be missing something.

Luckily for him, Apple Bloom is perfectly qualified to show him how to find the true meaning of his talent and figure out what he needs to do to be happy with his work.

And absolutely nothing will go wrong.

This story is a sequel to The Hardest Goodbye

After deciding to run away to the Badlands in order to try and find his destiny, Spike encounters the old villain, Nightmare Moon. After an unsuccessful attempt to posses him, Nightmare Moon is now stuck in his head.

Loreley never asked to be put in a high position of rulership as the Queen of the Dead... and yet here she is.

She never asked to possess the power to have complete control over the dead... yet here she received it.

Now over the years of quiet solitude and ruling over all the dead, she has grown distant and prideful for no friends exist for the Queen of Death and unfortunately, she hates immortals and those who fear and/or cheat death.

If things turn out differently, maybe she might feel some sort of wholeness in her empty void that she calls her heart.

Spike and Ember are transported to the Artisans homeworld as infants, without any memories at all, and arrive in time for Spyro's egg to hatch, leaving Nestor and the other Dragon Leaders with two purple dragons and a blue dragon, instead of just a single purple dragon. They decide to take it as a sign of great things to come and keep the trio together, letting the three dragons grow up as siblings while they teach them the value of teamwork and what it means to be a dragon, all while preparing them for whatever the future has in store for them.
