October update: finally catching my breath.

Hey, everyone. Quick update:

Going to be binge-writing the Brass Tack story over the next few days, crank out a first draft and see if it's any good. Hopefully I can publish it somewhere in November.

Art-wise, some minor progress working on eye textures. Nothing major, but it'll be a boon in getting character concepts out quickly, if it ever gets advanced enough. Basically working towards this, but making it possible to move the eyes without having to draw them 'moved,' so only really making a sheet of the eye shapes, not the pupils and irises. Make it easier to swap out for different characters, y'know?

And work-wise? Finally taking it a little easier, after everything that's happened. I might get roped into doing some art stuff for work, as it turns out, but that won't be happening until I get a first draft of a working model, which I can do at my own pace. Very much a 'if not this year, then next year, or after that' situation. Looking forward to being able to check that off, though, that will probably be my next big thing in November or December, use that as a warm-up for the personal projects.

Anyway, not that much to say here. Sleep continues to be a major issue, I don't know how I'm going to fix that without moving out, so... let's hope I last long enough to do just that.
