A story based on this image would be nice

I think it would be quite cute. Art by icey.

    My thoughts on Stellar Blade

Her ass is not fat enough. That is all.

    Ponies got much better asses.

MLP Gen5 Butts are too small

Seriously, they are. This is by far the most important issue, if they made their asses fatter it would improve viewership. If they made the ponies thicc prudes would complain, which would only draw in even more viewers. Twilight Sparkle, the protagonist of the series has a fat ass, and her teacher Princess Celestia, who's ass is even fatter.

    I don't like anthro

The main reason is uncanny valley. When something looks human but not quite. A perfect example would be a robot trying to mimic being human, it looks unsettling. It's somewhat insulting towards the ponies, you have Twilight Sparkle there a beautiful unicorn and you can't embrace her just because she's not fully in human shape, even though she has all the qualifications to be a sapient-minded

The attacks on anime are ridiculous

I am sorry about this blog, but anime as in japanese cartoons made in japan are under attack by western moral puritans, because it doesn't adhere to their moral standards. This strikes me as a very imperialistic mindset, not everyone has to adhere to our values.

Disappearing accounts · 6:10pm Oct 12th, 2022

I feel something fishy might be going on. Apparently Jay David is gone, he either left... or was possibly hacked. I'd advice password changing. Wonder if fimfiction has an account recovery system?

Recent thread on Jay David: link.

Some More Evidence see RobtheMorpherPony's blog.

At any rate, felt like I should spread the word.

I know Jay's been on the fence fandom-wise in the past — he frequently wiped his blogs, and once had to be talked down from deleting every fic he'd published prior to 2021 — but it does seem odd that he'd completely vanish with no forewarning.

Whatever the reason is, it's upsetting to see him disappear like this. I read a lot of his stuff during my earlier days in this fandom; his Student Six anthology was a personal favorite, and I really liked that Text-to-Speech story he just finished (which, given how erratic FiMFetch's been since '19, has now almost assuredly vanished into the ether along with his account).

Between B_25's retirement from writing and Darth Link 22's passing, this has been a really bad year for my early favorites and influences.

EDIT: The Cloptimist retiring too, for that matter.

Push come to shove, most if not all of Jay's stuff is up on FFetch

Yeah, it's always sad when a big named user leaves, in other words the 1000 follower plus club member leaves.

That's a great back up site. That said, I am posting some of my stuff on archiveofourown.

5691867
There is also the Fimfarchive group here on this site. They do a sitewide backup/archive every 1-3 months of ALL the fics. There older archives even have some of the deleted stuff.

Probably just left.

Sounds like we have a mystery on our hands...

5691868
Yeah, they great. I subbed to them.

5691878
I fear you may be right.

5691890
Possibly. I wonder if this the site's admins will investigate?

Zoinks, like, don't say what I think you're gonna say

Ohh, that’s a big shame.
:ajsleepy:

I particularly liked his stories of “early season Equestria”.
The first one which comes to mind is set just after the Mane 6 defeat/redeem Nightmare Moon / Princess Luna, and we see five of those six wondering what Spike is to Twilight.

I can understand why he wanted to start afresh, but knowing where you have come from is important.
Just look at the journey of Marcus Warner (musician).

In the early days he created music under the identity of “Evening Star”. After some years, he reinvented himself, and started using his own name. But he still kept “Evening Star” and even remade some of his earlier work.

I hope you are well Jay David, whatever your inclinations.

Some people just want to bury their past which is unfortunate. I guess things like work can get in the way. (Don't want people looking up your history) Or you simply change as a person.

Hey, I just wanted to chime in here with some clarification. I'm very active in the site-dev-and-help channel on the Fimfic Discord, so I have seen this happen a few times.

When account deletion requests are put in, they are not processed right away. knighty has to manually delete accounts, and sometimes he lets them pile up for a while. He deleted about 600 accounts two days ago, and Jay David's account was in that mix. You can't really predict *when* knighty will get around to clearing out the account deletion backlog, which is why most people don't make a 'goodbye' post before they do it.

Thanks for your insight. There are inactive users who have some legendary stories still on this site. I wish them to remain.

I wish never to be deleted if let's say somehow I died or something. I'd love to see my stories still up years from now.

I had a story in my Chrome tab farm loaded for later reading. When I finally got around to it, I found a Derpy telling me that the link lead to nothing. Had to do some serious digging around, but I found this outstanding user who has been compiling a massive archive of what is (as far as I can tell) every FiM submission since about 2013. And in there, I managed to find the story that I was going to read, but now couldn't. And that lead me to here, with a bit of further digging.

The archive isn't perfect. No cover art, and no summary blurb either. That last bit is especially notable, since that's often where a story mentions that it's a sequel or otherwise related to another story. And if the story is from a flushed account, you can't really look it up to see the missing details.

But it's better than nothing.

Apologies for digging this old blog up, but just this morning, Jay created a new account and explained where he'd been. (TL:DR, he "wasn't in a good place" and felt deleting his online presence was the best solution. Perfectly understandable stuff.)

Just figured I'd give a heads-up, seeing as it's kinda gone under the radar (early-morning blog by a zero-follower account, which was promptly buried by an adbot spam-posting promos).

Thanks mate! I had no idea.
Dropped him a friendly line.
