The first act · 11:41pm Sep 27th, 2022
It's just so easy to press the same button someone else did before you. You don't even have to stop thinking with your own two braincells for a minute. You just follow the example and press the button. There's safety in numbers after all. Cowards... What is truly brave is to stand up for what you believe in and have the courage to voice your opinion to support the person. But instead, you join them, mock them. You do something solely because someone did so before you. Had the first act been a positive one, people would have followed with that instead. But because the first response was a negative one, that's what they'll react to. Cowards. That also suggests that the positive reaction doesn't hold much weight either. Monkey see monkey do... Such is the state of our whole world, unfortunately.
Needles to say, I'm having bad time with people and their sheep mentality. It's not for me. I can't deal with their crap. I tried. I'm sorry if this comes out too negatively, but I'm just so fed up with everything.
Public opinion is always set to the stone by the very first response. Whatever it is, people will follow. And I just can't take that. It's not fair. And it's not worth the effort or my time. I'm not going to stroke their overgrown egos.
I hope this is just some weird phase that will soon be over. I must return to my previous state somehow where I was perfectly content with being alone without any human interaction. At least not online. Real people, almost better at this point...
