As I promised, I've been working hard on both the sequel to my Midnight Sparkle series, as well as the odd oneshot to fill the gap before then. As a result, today, you get one such goodie.
I know this is overdue, and is kind of awkward to talk about since my second-to-last blog post was literally me talking about how I wanted to commit to regularly posting Secondo again and really hammer out the story properly.
Yeah, I'm sorry everyone. I had a few ideas for how to continue after the previous chapter but none of them I felt went anywhere exciting. In the end, due to a combination of work, lack of other ideas, and having other freetime activities to focus on, I simply decided I'd go on a bit of a hiatus for a while.
The Princesses will return to us soon. Everything is fine. Remain calm. The Eternal Regent has everything under control.
At long last I possess the power to change the face of the world. At last, I can undo all those who would defy friendship and harmony. I can truly bring about peace and prosperity in the image of Equestria.
It is time to get to work. Time is running out until our holy rulers return. We will make them proud, and we will ensure none remain defiant of our way of life.
We will forge a new world out of the old, and when the clock ticks over, a new world will be born out of midnight.
So yeah. I know Twilight Theory was a pretty big hit in terms of reception, so I was motivated to do a small sequel to it. This time with less clocks and more... murder? Well, I'm sure our benevolent Regent knows what she is doing as she teaches the world the Magic of Friendship.
Notice: Although the story is marked 'complete', I am considering adding a few more short chapters to it in which Midnight deals with other world leaders. I'm open to suggestions, but mainly want to hear if that's actually a thing people would want at all. So let me know with a comment and like!
