Oho, you bet I'm throwing my hat into the ring! Last year, I entered the third Imposing Sovereigns contest (after making a hash of my first contest and missing the second), and - as much as I did manage to write a good amount - I felt I could have done a better job throughout if I hadn't run smack into a near-crippling issue halfway through, on October 15th. God, I hate that day. 
This year offers me a chance to redeem myself and live up to my proper potential. No distractions. No interruptions. Just five weeks of fanficking goodness. Already, I've got ideas. One heck of an opportunity indeed. 
This is happening! 
Wish me luck, folks. Although regardless, I'll see how well I can do on my own this time...

But, I know you, and this is a fine way to hone your writing muscles further. Plus, it slots nicely into your writing preferences of accommodating a breadth of character ranges and unique viewpoints within the world of FiM. I’m sure you’ll knock my (hypothetical) socks off.

I mean, focusing on one is going to be job enough, so I'm not promising a thing. I'm still working on an unrelated project as it is, and this week I've got other tasks to deal with back at HQ, to say nothing of the prep work for the Queen's funeral both at home and at work.
Still... we'll see what can be done. 😩

❔ That's a bizarre assumption. What difference would such a detail make anyway? The contest doesn't confine you to the in-universe "present day", for one thing.
