This is just a quick update for those who were concerned about me. Tl;dr I'm medicated again and feeling better!
So yeah, I'm back on my meds! I've been on my antidepressant and antipsychotic for about a week, and my ADHD meds for a few days. I'm feeling better already, though my focus isn't back yet. I hope it returns soon, I would like to proofread a chapter for a friend's wonderful story that is in dire need of more readers. Just, you know, nudge nudge.
Of course, the big question is when will I be writing again. And I don't know. When my meds start to take effect, I guess. I don't even know what story I want to focus on, because I've got a few active stories that are calling to me... But I hope to be back with more news on that front soon. ADHD meds are fast acting and have already started to take effect, the other two are slow acting and need to build in my system. It'll be at least another week before I really start to see changes, and probably months before we reach full efficacy. I was off meds for too long, they've left my system and I'm starting from scratch. But I've started, and that's the important thing.
I don't have anything else to share today, but do want to say that those of you who patiently wait for me to write more, thank you. It means a lot to know I have a few readers who will read whatever I wind up writing simply because I wrote it. Truly, no author could ask for more than that. Whenever that time comes, I hope to give you something worth the wait.
