Surprise...surprise...surprise

I've been looking over things recently, and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised to see the level of activity on this site after so many changes over the years. I'm also surprised at how the Gen 5 stories are doing here. It seems like things will not peter out on this site anytime soon.
I was feeling a bit stalled out personally these days, so I thought I'd come back and tinker a bit with some of these old stories of mine. I keep rethinking exactly how to handle the big climax of "The Blue and the Grey", not sure how a situation that's heading quickly towards a military solution can be successfully deescalated. (because it really needs it.) And of course, "Danger Close" is on the verge of a major turn for the worse...if I can ever get to writing the damn thing. So of course, with two other stories sitting in limbo, I find myself spending time this particular night working on a completely different story, a sequel to "The Good Fight" of all things. Will any of this ever come to fruition? I can promise absolutely nothing. But, I will say this...the quest continues.
