I like to think I'm a pretty open minded person who likes to learn new things, but sometimes Twitter bios are as nonsensical as crypto and NFTs.

And with that, I realize that I have a lot more to learn about pronouns. Hell, I'm still getting used to Latinx. I took more than enough Spanish in middle/high school to understand how nouns are gendered, even plural nouns, so I know how 'Latinos' and 'Latinas' work in a sentence. So unless I'm told that the Latino/Latinx community approves of the change, it's hard for me to get behind it.

Wasn't the latinx thing generally hated by the entire Latino community over it not being even pronouncable in their language due to the rules of how Spanish language works in the first place though? And it getting to the point the ones who made the word and those who are obnoxious for continuing to say it when told by the community to outright stop saying it and to stop calling them by it, are trying to force it onto them in a "we don't care about your feelings on your culture or that we're being jerks about it, we're changing it for you anyway you're welcome!" Sort of way? Something about it being racist and knowing better than the actual community or something? It was a huge deal on Twitter months ago with a lot of fighting and arguments over it from what I remember.
