Berserk and Birthdays

I became 30 years old 8 days ago and honestly it was the second loneliest birthday ever. I mean local pizza place and cake notwithstanding, but having no one to play games or talk shit as well as talk about careers and movies is... Isolating.

Dad keeps me company, as well as my cat but that is about it, and the old man and me only have each other and I am probably going to end up like him thirty years before he ended up like this. The only thing that makes me avoid his fate is the fact that unlike him I did not have my own family pressuring me into marriage with the wrong woman, and I have no dating experience. I still haven't forgiven my mother for the years of psychological abuse, neglect, and her constant cheating.

Those legal battles lasted eleven long years and ate up my entirety adolescence, and I am socially and mentally crippled for life.
