So a while back, I was invited to podcast to talk about my first book and writing in general. Don't get too excited, it's a pretty small-time thing, and I've never done anything of the sort before, but it was fun to do regardless. As far as I'm concerned, it's just practise for when I become a household name bouncing from podcast to convention to book signing. That's how it goes, right?
So if you have a spare hour or so and listening to me talk about fantasy, alternate history, magic as a storytelling tool, and not one single word about ponies, while being wrong about Tolkien and my microphone keeps dying sounds like fun to you, maybe give it a listen.
There's lots of interesting stuff elsewhere on the channel as well, so feel free to browse if it strikes your fancy.
Why does my microphone keep cutting out? Good question! We could probably have fixed it with a couple of clicks if I had been told that it was happening while we were recording. Seriously, why didn't you tell me?
PS: We don't go into my personal life in the podcast, but suffice it to say that currently, life is... pretty good, and seems to be on the right track. Well, in ever aspect other than my writing, that is. That's been lacking. But I haven't stopped! I'm working on a thing, I swear I am! See you in a couple years when it's out. Maybe at the comic con premiere of the HBO adaptation, or something.
Oh, and my website desperately needs an update. Shit.

Meanwhile, I finally launched my first genuinely good novel two days ago if you're interested. From the like two people who've read it so far, reviews have been great.
