Oh, hey everyone. It's been a while since I've posted one of these updates. Hope you don't mind the wait.
Got a bit of news. Firstly, I've been looking into a career change, as my health was sadly not recovering with the job I was working. As such I quit my job last month and have started working on training myself for a new type of career, one hopefully that'll still be work from home and that, if possible, can even be contract/set my own hours related, to make it much easier to work on. This is a bit slow going thanks to my health issues, but now that I'm no longer working full time, I'm able to much better devote my energy.
Secondly, for those that missed it, I posted a very brief comedy story a month or so ago for the thousand words contest. It's not a great one by any means, but it was the result of me thinking that a certain song from the pony Christmas album sounded... off. There was also a short collab story I wrote for another contest, in case it was not mentioned before, though a warning: it's a bit of a gore fest, being horror.
Third, however, is the biggest news. You see, over the past year I've been working on planning out something, and last month started writing said something, alongside a partner. I won't name what this project is yet, as I'd like to wait on that till we're much closer to posting, but it's huge. Super huge. Novel length plus huge. And it's something I think a lot of you will greatly enjoy.
I will say this: it is not related to Star Trek: Phoenix. That, alas, will still be on hiatus for the time being. I realize it has been close to a year now since it went on hiatus... something I'd originally hoped would only last a month or two. It will return some day. I have not given up on it, but its return will have to come after this new project.
I realize this isn't much in the way of news, but I wanted to let you all know I'm still around, still writing even if I haven't been posting much visibly. And I want to thank you all once again for following, and I hope you all have a great day.
Glad you're talking care of yourself. I look forward to the new project, whenever it launches.
Always good to hear from you. We all giva dam about you. warm hugs
It's good to hear from you. Glad that you're taking care of yourself, and I wish you the best of luck with your new career choice.
Also, I'm looking forward to this new project of yours.
Congrats on still being around. Still waiting for more Phoenix, but the new project sounds intriguing.
