Right. Onto the big 'un. Changing Expectations' sequel, Approaching Apotheosis, will be coming this year. I've gotten enough of the plot line down to be comfortable with writing it. The only thing that's stopping me from publishing the chapters right away is the cover art. I want one.
As it stands, I am having Nixworld commission another cover art (they did the cover art for CE). This art piece is going to take a while, and I hope its contents will make for a good cover art. All else fails, it will make an amazing art piece inside the story, and I will just use Pridark's art piece of Phasma and God-Splitter at the Gala as the cover art. But Nixworld's art piece is going to take a while to make.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me through Ko-Fi, you have all paid for this huge piece of art! I really hope it turns out well. I really didn't know what I wanted for the cover art, so that's where my concerns for how it will turn out comes from. Nixworld is really a superb artist, and has made sense of my ramblings before. So here goes nothing!

Not gonna lie, something inside me recoiled seeing how expensive that art is.
Though if anything, seeing how much money you're willing to spare for cover art shows how much you care about the story coming out well. I'm even more hyped for it now, not that I had many doubts after seeing how CE turned out.

It’s good that you’re writing what your passionate about, even though I’m certain you would’ve been able to accomplish much with your canceled stories, chances are that they would become more of a chore than something you love to write. Keep up the good work! It’s good to see that we’re getting more Phasma this year than previously hoped!

(I am also gonna thank you for inspiring my own changeling story. I have looked over some elements of said story and honestly I have subconsciously used some parts from Changing Expectations. Or at least I assume I have, ancient evils that possess changelings must have come from somewhere in my mind and I can only assume your story helped influence it, so thank you.)
I hope you get your money's worth, I know the sequel's going to be as great as Changing Expectations was. Can't wait to see where one of my favorite changeling stories goes!
Wow. This is good news!
On the one hand, that's a heavy price to pay, on the other, if it's as good as the price says it is, and being by the same guy who did your other cover, it's going to be amazing! I'm looking forward to seeing it! And on the third(?) hand, that's a lot of support for the artist to make a living, and I'm all for supporting independant artists.
