    I’m a Professional Now!

Hey all! It’s been a while, hasn’t it. A lot’s been going on. Drank a lot of tea.

I have officially graduated with an associate’s degree in arts with a focus on writing! Hooray! I have a job as a writing tutor now, and have been editing professionally as a side job for about a year. So, where does that leave my ponyfic proofreading?

    Situation Update

So, as my state comes out of lockdown, I've been able to work on clearing the backlog that I've built up during the pandemic. If I've missed you, send me a quick message and I'll try to help as soon as I can.

    New Job!

I've just gotten a job at my university as a writing tutor! I'm really excited about it and figured I'd share it here. It should also mean more time proofreading, since I don't have to pick up as many hours at my other jobs to cover the gaps.

    Finals end and boredom strikes

So, now that I’m done with finals week, I have plenty of time to work on proofreading over break. The problem is, I finished most of that too. So, if you have something for me to read, by all means, send it now!

Well, MLP will always hold a special place in my heart. I probably wouldn’t have this job if I didn’t have so much practice reading fanfics. I’d like to thank everyone I’ve worked with over the years; you’ve all been wonderful. As such, I still won’t charge for editing ponyfics. I want to keep helping people here, and I feel like I owe the fandom a lot. However, my editing queue will be shorter now that I don’t have as much free time on my hands (hooves?)

This also means that even if your story is not pony-related, I’m available for hire! I’ve been doing a lot of work with people’s novels, so if you’re looking to get a book published, let me know! I love working with creative writing, and having a professional queue full of fun stuff makes work way easier.

Again, thank you all so much for working with me, or reading my stories (even though they were never finished) over the years. This site has had such a positive impact on my life. ❤️
