Worst Finale, Go! · 7:30pm Jul 10th, 2022
Seasons five or six for me. I haven't seen them in, like, ages, but I do remember how rushed and underwhelming they felt. I have a hard time deciding which is worse.
You guys? And why?
Fellow brony, and overall Twidust fan!

Season 2. Do I REALLY need to go into detail about how stupid everyone was? Who do you trust more? The girl who knew what the bride in question acts like? Or the bride who pulls crocodile tears and acts insincere. Also there was the fact that Shining was a huge |]!ck and kicked his sister, his own FLESH & BLOOD, out of his wedding.

Yeah, I have to agree with you. It really felt like a kick the dog moment for me. I even felt horrible when Twilight looked so heartbroken by her friends betraying her.
Funny, the finales for S5 and S6 are my two favorite finales of the series.
I’d say the S7 finale was the worst, not because it was necessarily “bad” (in fact, I quite liked it overall), but because the Pony of Shadows is such a weak and under-utilized villain that had soooooo much potential that was just squandered. And to make matters worth, not many of the Pillars got a lot of screen time afterwards, barring Rockhoof and a few scenes with Mistmane. It was a very disappointing finale to me, but again, I still like it overall.

And need we bring up MOTHA' FRICKIN' CELESTIA!!! Twilight's mentor, who should've believed her. She probably knew Cadance when/if she lived in the castle, and shoulda known that the way Chrysalis was acting was not the way Cadance usually acts!
Season 1 for me. It's not particularly bad. It's just not as good as the others for me. I'd give it a 6/10
