Today is Claire Corlett's birthday. She is the talented young woman who voiced Sweetie Belle across the nine seasons of FiM, including the character's many voice cracks that led to her affectionately being dubbed Squeaky Belle. Claire also had a few smaller roles as she got older and her voice deepened, including voicing some of the background Wonderbolts such as Surprise. Interestingly, Claire was not the original singing voice for Sweetie Belle, that was Michelle Creeber (the voice of Apple Bloom). Beginning in Season 4, however, Claire took on singing duties full time.
Happy birthday. Claire. I hope you continue to enjoy a prolific voice acting career for many years to come.

Same with other Canadian voice actors like Michael Adamthwaite, Brent Miller and Kirby Morrow from Ninjago, Venus Terzo from Beast Wars, and Kira Tozer from Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5.
5671303 I can kind of understand Kirby Morrow now despite him being the biggest name Vancouver VA who wasn't recruited. He had lots of other roles for ongoing projects at the time, so they probably didn't want to add more to his plate.

Actually, Kira Tozer did have a few roles in G4 MLP. She was Chestnut Magnifico in Equestria Girls: Movie Magic and Fire Flare in The Summer Sun Setback.

It's still a shame Kirby never got to appear on Friendship is Magic, and sadly won't appear on Make Your Mark either.
