I love so much that this implies every musician has accidentally summoned demon twilight sparkle at least once. This makes it incredibly funny that any musician is cool with princess twilight sparkle, and also that neither musician thought to mention this fact at any point. God I love your writing, and your poses are only getting better, and your horses closer to the platonic ideal of a knife taped to a long stick. Can't wait for part 2!

I loved everything, I love Octy and Vynil, I love every single perfect landing, I love the teen Rarity and I love the enlightened adult Rarity. I was smiling the entire time and every single bit of this comic is fantastic. <3
I love your comics, they're hilarious in the best ways
The way Vinyl looked so intense at the first perfect landing was amazing, absolutely amazing comic.
You did a nice job giving EQG Rarity a distinct pony design. This portrayal of Octavia is also interesting, much wackier than we usually see from her. And as always, your way of integrating relatable problems with irresponsible magic use is great.
Cannot wait for part two, always love these comics.

* Honestly, I’m not all that surprised that Twilight as God Empress was responsible for destroying the Equestrian civilization so thoroughly that the ponies of the G5 era think it was a myth. Much more suited to a Loyal Opposition dissenter and self-employed hit-mare, that gal.
I have been reading these for a while, even the 100+ panel ones, but this is jus half of a two-parter? Geez, dude, I know this is a major outlet for you that you've been using as art practice and fulfilment for a few years now, and have built up quite a substantial Patreon backing on top of it, but it's amazing just how much of this there is, and how consistently funny it is. Bravo as ever. Given that, the €840 you net on Patreon (or whatever the $ equivalent is, it fluctuates I'm sure) per backing doesn't feel like overkill! Every time, I see there's so many panels, think "oh, I'll read a few in right now"… and however many minutes later, I've reached the page's bottom. Magic!
And I'll echo what others have said; I love that you can tell Human Rarity apart even besides the colour, and this portrayal of Octavia felt fresh and new, quite a contrast from the stiff upper lip sort she normally is.
You know, the problem with your comics is I REALLY want to tell you how good they are, I want to write a comment about how one line was really cool, or one moment hit really good, but then another one comes along. And then another, and another. My point is, you're TOO good.
Like Octavia, every joke was a perfect landing.
So... pony Rarity and Princess Twilight are not together? Thats sad...

I agree that the distinct designs for the two Rarities is an amazing touch, as is teen rarity’s hair dooble. It’s a great way to separate them, outline color aside. I do wish that moderately adequate brain chemistry wasn’t quite so hard to find :(

Another excellent work where literally every other panel is pure comedic gold.
My personal prediction for part two is that The Triton will be warded off with Pinkie Pie's love quesadillas. Considering that a Twilight was in the room, their mention has too suspiciously gone uncommented on to not be a potential Chekhov's Gun.

Even better/worse, panel 85 implies that, explicit wish or not, they had her killed by the Triton because she was an obstacle to their marriage.

This Vinyl and Octavia are so good. Absolutely adorable, filling my cynical heart with nothing but joy. I kept downloading panels to put in my feel-good photo album on my phone and eventually ended up with about 2/3rds of this comic downloaded. It's like a crack addiction, without the downside
