Rollercoaster Month (Don't Expect Stories This Month) · 12:00am Jul 5th, 2022
Hello everyone reading this,
I wanted to give you an update on what is going on this month for my writing. I'm taking a break this month as it brings about the 1 year anniversary of the death of my father on the 12th, his birthday is the 14th, and his burial on the 16th. It is also the birthday of my niece and youngest nephew as well. This doesn't mean I won't be writing anything in the meantime, it just means that I won't have anything ready for release that is planned. If anything does release count it as a blessing.
I'll be working on the fifth chapter of From Farm to Fame, and I have another story in the brainstorming phase as well, and a few others that are partially stormed and just need details hammered out. In total, there is stuff to come for August and the rest of the year, however, I am taking this month to mourn, celebrate, and rest.
I wish everyone a good month of summer, filled with fun, friends, and family. Remember to hold onto the ones you hold close, as time is fickle and we can never know when the time has come for them. I always thought I'd have my father until he was at least in his 80s or 90s, but he only made it to 60. You'll never know what you have until it is gone, and that rings hard for me, though I have started to heal, it still hurts to think of those old times and look back at all the goodness he brought me. So get out there and enjoy life, take a bite of what the world has to offer, and be kind to anyone you meet.
