Intro jingle

"Good evening, vague news report with topical humor told with a straight, deadpan deliver, followed by pop culture joke or observation of a subject from the 1980s."

Peter: Hey Lois, thing we just saw!

Lois: I express caution and reluctance towards thing we just saw, Peter.

Peter: Child-like enthusiasm!

Meg: Supporting comment to mom, reference to something about teenage girl social circles.

Peter: Cruel, degrading comment towards Meg.

Meg: Frowns and looks down at feet, says nothing else.

Chris: Excited stupidity or irrelevant comment! Or, actual genuine concern depending on the episode and effort to make Chris seem less of a complete idiot.

Brian: Voice of reason usually, in later episodes just commentary from Seth MacFarlane about whatever socio-political thing is going on at the moment, heard but mostly ignored by the family.

Peter: More enthusiasm!

Stewie: I am doing something unrelated, but will be touched on at various points in the episode.

Peter: Thing I saw on t.v.!

Quagmire: Informative comment relevant to the subject.

Cleveland: Comment relating subject to Cleveland's family.

Joe: Wheelchair joke.

Peter: Plan involving thing I saw on t.v.!

Celebrity appears

Celebrity: I exist and am in this cartoon now!

Peter: Humorous remark!

Quagmire: Sexual comment.

Cleveland: Racial comment.

Joe: Wheelchair joke.

Stewie: Still doing unrelated thing, is malicious in some way.

Peter: Plan involving thing I saw on t.v. coming to fruition!

Brian: Expresses concern. In later episodes, comment relating towards Republicans, conservatives or businesses being greedy. Support for liberal/centrist views.

hijinks ensues

Peter: Oh no! My plan has predictably gone awry!

Brian: Knew this would happen, did nothing to stop it, is now advising taking steps to alleviate problem.

Peter: Hastily enacts radical plan to reverse ongoing hijinks, peppers in jokes and references to pop culture, celebrity appears again, Stewie makes appearance, family arrives and problem is solved.

Peter: I have learned valuable lesson relating to thing.

Stewie: I am unsuccessful at task but shall attempt another eventually.

Meg: This could have been avoided if you had not done the thing you did in the first place.

Peter: Rude comment towards Meg.

Chris: Completely oblivious comment!

Brian: Relieved comment.

Lois: I love you, Peter.

Peter: Final gag!

I'd like to say that this deconstruction is a joke. I'm actually a fan of Seth MacFarlane and especially The Orville, at least the first season and early Family Guy. Deconstructions are not the same as destruction; the difference being, something deconstructed is done so in a way that it can be put back together if it's done right. That being said, Family Guy is formulaic for the most part, and in the later seasons, I think we're seeing a "Jerk-ass Peter" emerge similar to the Jerk-ass Homer we're seeing with The Simpsons. The Simpsons hasn't been the same in years and has been on a slow decline. That is one show that really should end.

Now roll the dice on the words tables to substitute different text in and see how close you get for various episodes?

Or bettre, uses a Pseudo Random gnerator,a nd see which seed value gives you an actual episode? then the information in that episode, is that seed value only?:trixieshiftright:

I think I missed this episode. Damn. Looks like one of their better ones.

If you plugged this into an AI to generate specifics, you could have several seasons in just minutes that would be indistinguishable from the original episodes.

Potentially.

Also, always liked your avatar. Also, thanks for the continued support. It's appreciated more than I can convey in a single comment.

Heh, thanks. And of course, you're genuine in your beliefs and words and I have immense respect for that. You're a decent person; the world would be a better place with more of you in it.

I like how well thought out this is

You nailed it, except I would add that in later episodes Brian mostly just became a pompous buffoon, which I think was an improvement.

I would've added Joe is also passive-aggressive at times and likely has control issues, Glenn Quagmire is more overtly sexual or says something about piloting and Stewie walks up and down the stairs, sometimes Brian joins him in his escapades.
